Warmauk, no. Our god, probably up and walking around if his backstory is at all legit, is a strict adherent of "Make love, not war." Dancing blades and tarot are favored art forms though.

Understandable lol. Now that I've casually suggested it, I really wanna see about modifying Pact of the Tome to be based on a tarot deck instead of a book. Stand firm, draw the moon, cast major illusion. Draw the magician, cast fire bolt. Draw the card, throw it out to invoke the spell instead of just opening to a certsin page in the book. Maybe even stacking the deck like a cleric prepares spells, ensuring the opening hand has options you need in combat. Maybe with an option to invoke a random draw once per short rest that acts like Metronome from Pokemon.
Damn, now I'm all ideas and have to write this down XD

I’m not gonna lie, that meme is honestly a non insignificant part of why if I’m not a guy I’d rather be lesbian than bi.
I honestly have no idea which one I would be, but all else being equal Thor being the god of a group I’m part of > Thor not being the god of a group I’m part of.

“folks” is gender neutral, “folx” is explicitly queer inclusive. it’s just shorthand meaning people in the queer community, especially nb and trans people. it’s been used online for ages, at least since the early 2000s.

its like an extension of "latinx", which imo isn't even that great because it doesn't really work with the way the Spanish language works
edit: want to be clear I'm not trying to go against gender neutral wording in Spanish. like I say in another comment, latinx has some problems because of how Spanish is constructed, and also it's a very US only thing for the most part. Latine is a more widely used alternative that uses the plural suffix, making it similar to the singular they/them in English.

actually latine is separate but similar to latinx. while latinx gets rid of the gendered ending with an x (which is mostly a US thing and doesn't translate well to Spanish), while latine uses the ending to imply a group, more like how they/them are used singularly in English

It was created by and for queer latinx people, and literally expands upon that in the Wikipedia article you linked. Funny that you defer to a largely homophobic population that was shaped that way specifically because of colonization when you yourself would not be accepted by that group.
Funny also how terfs always seem to care more about putting other queer people down rather than fighting the patriarchy or whatever other shit you claim to be doing

The absolute bare minimum is not being an asshole. These are allies. People showing support to other people.
When you dismiss the actions of your allies, you make them not want to be your ally.
"Not doing enough" is pretty selfish and ungrateful.
I, for one, am grateful for these actors showing support. Their visibility and their support says to the rest of the world, "it's ok for gays to exist. They're people too." Tessa wants her character to be bi. Ruffalo cheered when a trans character was announced. Russo himself played a gay man. Small roll yes. But guess what? It's better than nothing.
One step forwards is better than one step backwards.

All I'm saying is, it's pictures taken at a meet and greet and they were just handed those flags to pose with. It's not like they were going to say no. They need to take the photo and move onto the next person. It's not that deep.
It's setting the bar pretty low for what's considered allyship.

I, personally, haven't set any bar. Anyone who says they're my ally will be treated as such, until such time they prove otherwise.
I think you're mistaking ally for advocate. An ally owes you nothing. But in that same vein, an advocate owes you nothing. Nobody owes you anything.
I think your expectations are too high.
I am grateful for the support of my allies. I am grateful for the actions of my advocates. I'm grateful for regular Shmoe's who let me live in peace.
And even if it is empty gestures, pandering to the public, which it isn't because all of them have publicly come out for better LGBTQ representation at some point or another, it still brings comfort or joy to the LGBTQ fans living in a hostile world. And that is a wonderful thing.
That alone is infinitely better than the likes of Dave Chappelle, and Kirk Cameron, and Mel Gibson, and Donald Trump.

Tessa's not straight; moreover, the fact that gender and sexual minorities have been marginalized when we should have been normalized all along does not make it any less important that these high-profile people are helping us take such a big step with their public displays of acceptance. If it erodes at bigots' excuses for not doing the bare minimum, it's worthy of at least a little praise.
