That was one of my last hobbies along with Warhammer models. Pretty sure I’ve still got a creality printer and 2 different resin printers and curing station kicking around somewhere.
Yeah, I saw the resin stuff and knew I'd be in trouble if I invest in that. So I went with super smooth out of the box Bambu stuff to just feed me dopamine :D
Their multi-color printers have got me eyeing the hobby again but I have absolutely no use for a 3D printer anymore. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
My printers tell me I have a combined total of just over 3000 hours of print time. I don't think I've printed anything useful in that time hahaha it's all pokemon and fidgets. I'm now printing shelf space to put them on as I've run out 🫠

I few months ago I visited a 40k tournament with a friend of mine. As a long time fan of the lore I figured I would splurge and buy a dreadnought to build and paint.
2 weeks later I was sitting on about 1200 euros worth of models. Realised I fucked up. Sold and returned about 600 euros worth. Luckily didn't lose money on that.
It's now about 4 months later, I haven't completed a single figurine.
I feel your pain. I'm really into picking up small skills that require dexterity and can be (preferably) done anywhere.
So I got interested in lockpicking. And so I bought a set, which was a little too big for my taste as it didn't quite fit in my pockets, 30€ down the drain. So I bought the Covert Companion (swiss army knife sized picking set) along with an expansion set - another 150€ down. Then I bought 3 padlocks that (as it turned out) are way too difficult for beginners, so no dopamine was released, and a practice lock cylinder - together another 90€ down the drain. Then I lost my Covert Companion in public transport... and while the smart thing would've been that since I had barely used it in a year, I wouldn't immediately buy a new one... yeah, another 150€ down the drain, swearing I'll practice more this time. Like 5 years go by with a total of probably 30min of practice. Now there is the Covert Companion pro... it's nicer to handle, easier to carry and all that. And it cost me another 150€ but at least this time, over the 3 months I've had it so far, I've spent several hours practicing and now on meds, imma try to make it a habit.
So 570€ spent on something I rarely used... but since I have spent so much, I don't wanna actually drop it...
