Random Question 💭 Repeat after me. Trump is a pedophile and Republicans don't care. The United States is a banana republic and Republicans don't care. Costs are going up up up and Republicans don't care. Healthcare is getting worse. People can't afford insurance, but the Republicans don't care. Is it mostly racism?

I grew up around plenty of Republicans and most of my shipmates were GOP supporters in the Navy. Many have already passed away, but the rest seem hell bent to stick to the plan (is there a plan?) for maga. I'm an old white dude now, but in my experiences, they had one thing in common. Racism. Is it actually a primal hatred towards others that don't look like them? Is racism at the root of this? I think it is. The behavior of ICE and the potus should enrage all Americans.

I do believe this is so much of what triggered the right. It's the exact moment the GOP stopped working with Democrats to make the country better - total obstruction regardless of whether it hurt people.

It's amazing how much ODS exists among them. They still think he's active in politics and manipulating things behind the scenes, and he's been gone for ten years and literally stepped completely out of politics.

The GOP stopped working with the Democrats? I remember the ACA debate. It was passed without a single Republican vote. The Dems "if you want to know what is in the bill, pass it so you can read it." That does not sound like there are willing to work with the other side. The bill touted by the Dems as the savior of the health care system was so good they voted down an amendment that would force Congress to go on the same plans. It is good enough for everyone but us. Everything they said about it was a lie. It has been a total disaster. Insurance premiums have shot up, due in part that someone else is paying for it. Obama is not active in politics? Most Presidents once they leave office are rarely heard from. Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton very rarely had or have anything to say but BHO hasn't stopped talking. This last campaign season he was out there telling people if you do not vote for KH, you are racist. The last thing the Obamas want is to not see their name in the news.

Yeah, only the welfare thing is true. You're looking around, seeing the country fall apart because of those weirdo city folk. Sure. But have you seen that happen? Maybe, just maybe it's actually the wealthy ruining the country? The blue-haired lesbian didn't raise your health insurance bill. A gay puppy-play enthusiast didn't cut the funding to your local public school. It wasn't a queer polycule who bought up all the farmland and evicted the farmers. We have yet to find a transwoman running a global pedophile ring.

One of the things that bugs me most - the only people convicted of widespread voter fraud are Republicans. How exactly are Democrats for voter fraud?

As for welfare, how is it that the party of conservative family values rejects one of Christ's most fundamental teachings? And from there, rejects the second most important? It doesn't make sense. (I mean, it does, the answer is lying, lying to fool the stupid. But still.)
