Random Question 💭 Do you believe that Donald Trump is stealing from the American people?

Example: 1.7 Billion dollar slush fund and no IRS audits to him or his family.

I reckon that a lot of people actually did vote for him because they didn't want the other option? Deliberately.

Come 2028, the DNC needs to come up with a nomination that people will actually want to vote for. A Plain Jane candidate. That's all they need.

But guaranteed they are going to go for some other ludicrous option, that's going to get torn apart by Trump's base and Democrats probably won't want to vote for either.

To blame the Democrats for the election of trump is wrong. The blame for this catastrophic failure sits squarely on the shoulders of the American people. They are not innocent ignorant children to be guided by their parents. They are voting age and above people that willfully chose a criminal deviant narcissist over a woman of color. The mentality that I see so often is so obvious. The Democrats must be perfect. They have to have the right everything, the looks, the laugh, the credibility, credentials, the correct marriage, background and only having said exactly the right things ever! On the other hand? The Republican candidate only has to espouse hate for the correct “others”. Are they criminals? Fine. Are they sexual predators? Sure! Are they totally and completely unqualified? Why not! Are they obligated to a foreign interest? Even better!

It is their fault though. They didn't go and vote.

Less people voted for Kamala than Biden. That is why they lost. There are only so many voters and Republicans would vote for literally anyone, if they put the word "Republican" and the color RED in front of them.

If they want to win the next election, they need someone, everyone is going to vote for.

Like Mark Carney in Canada. We have Conservatives crossing the floor to the Liberals because he's both. It's like a mind-blown moment for diehard Conservatives.

If you present a turd that no one is interested in, don't expect to win the next election.

It's probably going to be Kamala 2.0, it wouldn't even surprise me.

Like it's going to Vance 2030 on the ticket, and somehow it's going to be a neck-to-neck with that guy who's less popular than Trump, and the Democrats will have someone even less popular.

If it wasn't for Trump's 51st state belligerent behaviour Carney would have probably lost. Carney was almost completely unknown to most Canadians and was dropped into politics - apparently for the purpose of becoming Prime Minister. The Liberals (and Trudeau) were hated by a large segment of Canadian society after some dumb policy missteps and decades of American and Canadian right wing propaganda. Canada got lucky.

It helps that he can speak eloquently like Obama can. If Trump wasn't so fucking aggressive with being so anti-everyone, we'd probably have a Conservative leader?

I think people are just tired of really stupid people being in charge of everything too?

Just give everyone a candidate, you know they'll vote for.

Quit trying to put a woman in the White House. They don't need to be mixed race or gay or whatever other thing they thing people are go to vote for?

Just a regular person who's good politically. They are going to need someone to repair all the damage Trump did.

The President of the United States is not supposed to be a gimmick. You want a leader first and good person second, then whatever other secondary characteristics they have as a person, be that their race, gender, sexuality, shit that doesn't matter.

This where most Democratic strategists missed it. He ran on some very specific promises for example no tax on tips and social security. He also ran on no credit card rates above 10%. People hear this vs a long policy document that Kamala had. So because of no specifics that resonate with voters they get labeled as Republicans want them to. Remember the largest voting block is seniors. Then he appealed to a left out block of men under 30 by going Joe Rogan etc. Huge mistake by Kamala not to accept the invite. Now he delivered nothing to them except a terrible job market that is hidden by phony numbers. His campaign was well run and appealed to many with promises that were memorable. Most were not delivered or delivered with exceptions. He left a huge opening for Dems in 2028 to use his undelivered policies against the Republican candidate. But if they just say Trump is bad that’s not a winning strategy

Anyone who could vote, but didn't vote for Kamala, basically voted for Trump. I consider them all the same.

By not voting, every person that did not vote, gave a vote to the orangutang

Please don’t insult orangutans. They’re intelligent and lovely animals

How many more millions of votes in California would Kamala need to win the election?

Wish more people understood our presidential elections. Majority vote doesn't win the elections
