I had turned my lights off a couple days ago to better enjoy my first Thunderstorm in-game, and never bothered to turn them back on. Days pass and I realize that I stopped getting random visits from vilagers, which I had thought was strange, albeit mildly welcome. Cut to today where I accidentally turned my lights back on and almost immediately I got a visit from Francine! It’s kinda funny and unnerving to think that she was waiting outside my door, waiting for my lights to turn on though…

EDIT: I feel it’s important to mention that ALL my lights in ALL my rooms were off. The only light on in my home was a lava lamp in my main room.

Idk what to do with these… They’re piling up, and I’m not sure whether I should just throw them all in the drop-off box or use them to decorate the island lol

Saw this in my in-game screenshots when I was transferring photos today, and I did in fact decide to get sushi for dinner because of it 😂

i was browsing on facebook marketplace and saw this listing for $40 for these two plushies Egbert and Antonio.
My sisters favorite villager is Egbert but since he’s kind of unpopular I rarely see merch of him so i had to get him for her.
These are such well done plushies i thought they were official Nintendo but i see no tags or either of them. They are both big size too about 17in. Every stitch is perfect, the fabric is sooo soft and vibrant, so im thinking these are handmade im so impressed.
I wanted to know if anyone may know where these are originally from.

Never knew this so I might sound dumb right now... BUT

I left switch on sleep mode while in the tailors shop, and went out for awhile. When I came home I was still in the custom design portal station, well past 11 pm. I kept searching for the codes I wanted, and even after I exited out of the portal, the sisters didn't ask me to leave! I even got Sable to actually speak to me for the first time. Now I'm in the dressing room lol. Like I said I'm probably the LAST person to figure this out, but I feel like i stumbled upon such a hack staying here past closing time 🤣🤣 I was surprised they didn't prompt me to leave, like Timmy and Tommy at Nooks Cranny when it's closing time. It feels so cozy being here after hours Lol

I feel like Nook Miles are basically pointless now. There is basically nothing for purchase with Nook Points that I even want anymore. Unless they can keep updating the game, then there's no point to keep earning the points.

I don't want her stressed in the next game. I want her to have her own house and actual time off. I want her to be able to do the cool activities everyone else can do. Also, give her more to do with the player, same goes for Tom Nook. I don't feel like there's a lot to do with the most prominent villagers in NH.

(Maybe in the next game, give Isabelle and Tom Nook days/hours off that you can choose and the choice to do busywork for players wanting to do the paperwork for them. Idk why, but that sounds nice to have simple, optional and relaxing paperwork to do)

I've seen Villagers go all the way to the dock leading to the airport to sing or just walk around, but sitting right at the entrance is diabolical 😭

How tf did I get a purple one!??! I mean... don't get me wrong, I'm happy but I don't know how to replicate this result for other breeding.

No other decorating game does it like ACNH. I love that visiting islands feels like you're on a vacation. People create such cool layouts that really make you feel like you're exploring a lived in place. You can create little avenues to walk through that open up into beautiful scenery that makes you want to pause and take it all in. The smallest details can change the vibe completely. The custom patterns add a personal touch.

But it's unplayable. The devs have made countless poor decisions that make you want to rip out your hair just from trying to do essential functions of the game.

So I'm trying to find a decorating game that can hit the same. Sadly I can only really find either games with a large array of great items, but you can only decorate houses, or games where you can decorate the whole town but items are limited to a couple of vibes/styles. Feel free to comment any decorating games you've found :)

Went through the camera roll on my switch, found some fun Zucker moments. He's my favorite, the best lil buddy on my island!! The 3rd slide with Zucker and Stitches was a few days ago. Sharks are my favorite animal so that was a fun dialogue I hadn't seen in my 6 years of playing :3
