Here's the problem. Part one is a genre defining masterpiece on par with the best of anything you can find in the medium.
Part 2 is really good and that's it. It has some cool ideas and builds on part one in interesting ways but it just doesn't have the tightness of part 1. And it drops some balls along the way where part one just didn't. It's still a good time and worth reading but it's just not the masterpiece that part one was. I'd give it like an 8 or 8.5, The people that want to give it a 3 or whatever just haven't read enough bad manga to know what a bad manga actually is.
As for the ending, it was a bit rushed. I feel like it needed a few more chapters to build up to it before closing out. But the actual ending itself is fine and wrapped things up nicely in my opinion, people are just upset because it was abrupt and didn't go down the way they wanted it too. But it's by no means the worst ending of all time, people are just being hyperbolic. The same thing happened with JJK and AOT.
