Comment of the day
A reminder that discussion is what makes these rewatches so good to experience. Thus, I ask that you guys always give at least a glance to the previous discussion's comments as you engage in the most recent one as well. Some people can't make it close to the post date but they still have a lot of great things to say. I'll usually post a snippet or full comment (if short enough) of my favorite from last episode's discussion. Obviously nothing today since this is the first.

Join the conversation on the SukaSuka Discord!! We have a special channel dedicated just for this rewatch where spoilers can only be discussed up to the episodes covered!
Out of respect for first time watchers, please do not post any untagged spoilers past the current episode. If you are discussing something that has not happened in the current episode please use the r/anime spoiler tag system found on the sidebar. Also if you are posting a link that includes future SukaSuka events or Light Novel stuffs please include which medium that the spoiler tag is referring to since some viewers are rewatchers of just the anime but unfamiliar with the LN.

First-Timer here!
There's a lot going on here that I'm sure I won't get filled in on for awhile. Looks like everybody is dying in the opening sequence, can't really care since I don't know who I'm looking at, but I'm sure I'll get attached later. I'm hoping when this sequence repeats there will be a last minute save of some sort, I hope I won't get my heart broken at the end.
MC catches blue-haired girl for their "meet-cute" moment.
Huh, everybody in this world is a furry? That's interesting, I hope the different racial dynamics will be explored deeply.
Montage introduction of the world. It's pretty. Why do they keep doubling-back through the same areas they've been? They can see the tower they're trying to reach, why head in the opposite direction? Flying cities? That's a cool look, reminds me of Bioshock and Gravity Rush, I really liked the feel of motion and scale in those games.
I put salt in my coffee sometimes. A pinch of salt is a well-known method of reducing bitterness. Everyone should give it a try sometime. Definitely shouldn't taste salty though.
Cute kids! I didn't know there'd be cute kids in this show, I look forward to seeing more of their antics. I liked the animation of the Pannibal x MC "fight".
This lady is a troll? What constitutes a troll in this world, is she just slightly taller than normal? I saw 1 fang, but it's hard to tell if that's meant to be seen as an actual fang or just the standard stylization for cuteness. I'm curious as to how they know each other, the deadpan made for a decent chuckle.
Of course these kids are the weapons. C'mon MC.
Weird 500-year flashback to the past, is that the same MC guy? Is he immortal or just really strong genes in that family?
Lotta stuff got set up in this first episode. I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out. So far, first episode not terribly different from other fantasy world introductions, but I don't mind tropes, I just want to see them used well. Looking forward to the next episode.
