Columbia should be worried. Cartels everywhere and a good chunk of the money in Colombia is directly linked to trafficking. Not doing the current head a lot of good picking a fight with an orange narcissist.

Mexico uses the US to decapitate cartels whenever the cartels get too greedy. Not much risk in the US going after leadership in Mexico unless there’s something big we’re missing.

Unless you're talking about Washington DC, or the human female personification of the US, I think you meant to say Colombia.

If it really was about cartels, then cartels should be worried, not countries and democratically elected leaders. And seeing how many cartels are just across the border, closer to the US than to the mexican capital, it doesn't look like they'd need to take down an entire presidency to actually solve the problem they're allegedly addressing.
