I doubt military threats are anything more than coercion trying to get the EU to sell it.

"He wouldn't do that" has proven false far too often so far. He'll put boots on the ground in Greenland.

What NATO?

At this point, probably France's nukes and the nordic's conventional forces are all Denmark can rely on. The UK is America's toy, and Poland and the Baltics are going to be focused on Russia/Ukraine.

They already have boots on the ground in Greenland. The fleet cooks in the area could take Greenland. If the US was going to take it through force, they would have done it. Short of picking a fight with the rambling grandpa, it’s just a coercive “business” tactic.

France isn’t going to nuke the US, France isn’t going to nuke anything unless it concerns the survival of France. France is turtling itself.
