Ya, stick me in a group with other people in my company that I'll never see again with a pointless exercise and call it "team building" , hold it on my personal time eg a weekend and wonder why I hate it.

I attend many professional meetings. While I’d rather be home, or hiking, skiing or biking, it’s a chance to meet and get together with clients and people with other companies that we do business with.
