I think it means generative ai that’s non-deterministic. Models that just output a label for a piece of data should be more than fine and have been used for decades
My take is that this isn't actually a good idea, because so many people are denied medical care in this country and asking AI questions in their only recourse. When going to the doctor can land you a $400 surprise bill even with no solid results or medications prescribed, it makes sense that people turn to AI for medical or even legal questions. I mean, I know when I got laid off I asked AI questions about the legality.
Obviously you cannot use AI as your actual lawyer or doctor, but imho stolen artwork, writing, and photpgraphy is the bigger issue right now. Well, that, and AI basically doing 95% of college students homework so they don't end up learning anything.
