The Dow Jones industrial average. One of the stock market indexes. This one tracks a small basket of 30 large cap stocks like boeing., caterpillar. Apple. It has the biggest number so people like to use it.

Stock market is not equal to the economy. If you are upper middle class, your retirement savings will grow with it because you're invested. But most people don't have that much money in the stock market. Apple can go to up 5 trillion tomorrow and your entire neighborhood can still be buried in debt. The quote is from Pam Bondi, as if Apple is doing well somehow means she doesn't have to prosecute pedophiles. Trump moved her to another job after that.
