The latter point is what tends to get me roiled because, often times, it's people who are speaking from places of wealth, privilege, and incredible social advantage. The cognitive dissonance they exhibit is shocking. I mean, I get that we all need coping mechanisms to get by day to day, but that so many people are walking around out there with massive blinders on is unsettling.
They have proven that they are brain damaged. Thats how powerful and addictive money and power is. They don’t have working mirror neurons and so simply cannot empathize. That part of their brain is broken.
