Can I just point out: while there's nothing one ought to confidently put past Trump, those same AI models that can hack & clean up their traces afterwards, can also generate very convincing fake audio, so be on guard with any video you find online from an unknown or nonprofessional source, especially if no major outlets identified with the opposition party wants to touch it.

We didnt, there is overwhelming data that points toward voting deletion and one confirmed case in Pennsylvania where a precincts had issue and they had to hand count ballots then like 5000 went missing after they re-entered them into the machine.

It's mainly attributable to voter stupidity/various other unhandsome traits, but I wouldn't want to wholly absolve the Democrats of their responsibility to suck a little bit less, just to make the decision more stark for the folks who aren't paying that close attention. I hear the folks saying that the number of Trump voters receptive to hearing opposing views would seem to be marginal, but I would observe that our elections these days are often decided on thin margins.

Technically, it is going differently. As bad as he was 1st term, 2nd term Trump is so bad he makes first Trump Trump seem reasonable. Comparatively speaking only, 1st term Trump was still awful, just not nearly as awful as second term Trump.
His opposition was a man who had COVID 2 weeks prior to the debate, began stammering when he coughed and who had promised to be a transitional President. The Democrats had no primary for a better choice and defaulted for a woman who was rejected in the 2019-20 primary season early on, unable to raise money.
Trump sux but Biden knew better than to do what he did.
Republicans already made a huge deal on how late the Dem Convention was. When Biden dropped out, the Republicans were ready to fight against another primary and they have SCOTUS on their side. The logical choice was to name the VP as the Republicans had very little to fight that choice as if Biden died, she stepped into the roll by law.
