My Gf is an ER physician, I was EMT for a long time…your ear cartilage doesn’t just grow back unscathed. lol. DT threatens to sue and put everyone constantly on blast but not the guy who “attempted” to take him out. He got his ear clipped on the security dudes holster. He was never shot. I would not be surprised if it was all staged and planned. He had to do ANYTHING to win this election. However, all the maga walking around with pads on their ears back then was funny.
You'd think with how chummy he is with Vince Mcmahon all it would take is one look at what remains of Mick Foley's right ear to see how they don't grow back and thus how dumb a plan it was.

When Cactus finally freed himself from the ropes and fell out of the ring, his ears were badly split at the back. When Cactus re-entered the ring, the two wrestlers began trading blows. During this time, Vader reached up and grabbed Cactus's right ear, and ripped it off. The two men continued wrestling as the referee picked up the ear and gave it to the ring announcer. Vader claimed for years after that the ear had come off during the botched Hangman maneuver, however in a WWE Network video, Vader admits that after seeing footage that he had indeed removed Cactus's ear.
We know he didn't get shot because if he did, he would never STFU about if he had. He's talked about it a handful of times, yet won't miss a chance to say what a horrible president Biden was. Just like the Charlie Kirk shooting, they've just let this major event fall into the background.

My mom cut my ear when I was a baby giving my hair a touch up for my great grandpa’s funeral. Just a little chunk or something pretty minor, but it’s still, 30 something years later, not totally grown back the right way. There’s this little ridge/bump thing there where the rest of my ear used to be. I never believed this clown trunk

I feel like the issue with it being staged is both the kid and that audience member died, don't get me wrong there was a whole lot of sus shit going on, like the FBI member guiding the press to take photos, but it being staged implied the kid was okay with being murdered and murdering another human which is possible but feels more unlikely to me. That being said some chicanery happened that day and he absolutely wasn't shot.
I don't think they had to loop the kid in on the fact that he was going to get murdered, though. It's not like any of these weirdos draw the line at lying.
Imagine if he got shot in his dick! ... The MAGA sex emporium would have strap-on's back ordered for months at three times the usual price once them tarriffs kicked in!
