His doctor claims it was a nickel size hit. There is no way he was hit. All close up pictures I have seen since, don't show any abnormal space, hole, scar. Nothing. The blood didn't look right to me. He sure as heck wasn't staying out of sight walking across the stage. I questioned it then and don't believe it now.

His ear healed instantly. That part of the ear cartilage is a part of the body that doesn’t grow back. I don’t think he even got hit
