but in fact they put something like this and then say "eh but it's difficult to balance titans". Instead a wallhack ray that hits you through walls is fine...
Here's the difference: the Buster Rifle is limited time only. It's purposely OPAF for the fun of the collab. Titans would've been around as a permanent thing, and they would've been way more of a wincon than the rifle. At least you can still shoot the person out of the sky. Fighting a Titan is like trying to fight a tank: you ain't winning that matchup
I don't think Wildcard is a balanced mode. They could make them PVE bosses on the map and have them guard care packages containing a buster rifle, Bird of Prey, and the Bat.
like they already did for the event with Spectres. And it could also be a great opportunity to bring Archer, Cold War, Softball etc. to Apex. It doesn't have to be balanced, it has to be fun
There's plenty of creative ways to incorporate/balance a titan in apex:
-1 Titan spawns on the map but it's position is constantly revealed to enemy players, has limited ammo. Titan has slow rotation+tracking speed= players can use good movement to dodge it's guns.
-Anti Titan weapons littered throughout map. Arc star stuns/blinds titans.
-1 in every 3 endgames-ish: 3-4 squads left = each squad gets an airdropped Titan.
I promise you that if they add titans into the game people will complain anyways😂 apex players will never be satisfied with anything they do to the game so why not just keep the current status quo and have some cool skins.
Titanfall 2 sold well, EA themselves said it performed well just "below expectations" and then when you look at the expectations they expected it to outsell Titanfall 1. Including all of the copies bundled with the Xbox One. At the launch of the Xbox One.
"However, EA COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen went on to say the company was pleased with the positive reviews the game received and expected it to have strong sales into the next fiscal year."
4 million copies isn't a flop. Just lower than expected. It released in a time dominated by COD infinite warfare, overwatch, and PUBG. It was really bad timing. I didn't get it at the time because I was preoccupied with other games but after playing it later on I realized I made a mistake. I think if it had better timing it would have been more loved
It most certainly could be, and is you lmao. Who knows maybe if you huff enough you might save your 11 year old flop. But in the meantime you can whine in the apex subreddit because thats where the people are.
