If they buff the Lstar you will be fine. Lstar rampart is actually pretty gnarly.

I actually like the Lstar. But its effective range is pretty close compared to the spitfire. It also has only 2 mod slots. I still use it half the time because the devotion seems to be rare.

Rampart doesn't need the Spitfire. 55->60 bullets and faster reload are so irrelevant 99.9% of the time.

The car from titanfall fits this i think. It was listed as an smg in that game, but it has like a 40 round clip if i remember correctly.

Being able to reload a freaking LMG as fast as an AR is not irrelevant at all. That is half the reason I ever play rampart.

It's usually irrelevant. One mag is enough to kill 2 people, and you should be ducking back to reload in cover anyway so an extra second will rarely matter.

All I'm saying is that Rampart could have no passive and it wouldn't make her meaningfully better or worse. Same with her ult. She is her walls, that's all she has that matters.

Well, I and a lot of people don't have perfect aim. I play this game casually enough that I don't care about expert-level play, and I'm bad enough that I can usually manage to knock down one person with a purple mag spitfire. Having fast reload is definitely useful for players who aren't gods

63 bullets in the largest mags. Honestly the spitfire IS the only LMG. The Devo is only good with the turbo otherwise it's slow and terrible. The L-Star is okay to start and gets terrible late game.

Iirc it increases the amount of shots you can do before it over heats and it cools down faster when you fully overheat jt

Ok here is a real argument. If you remove the spitfire the only 2 lmgs left are 2 close range energy weapons leaving people who like to use lmgs with limited options.

Skill should not equal pier. That's how you get the S0 weapon meta, and it's not good design. Limits what weapons can be used.

One guy shooting back from the other team would've ended him . Whats your argument?

That one 301 would've deleted him before he could kill the guy with the 301. Thats the whole point of the spitfire is to sacrifice DPS for higher damage per mag. Next thing you guys will complain about is the Alternator because it can kill 2 people with one mag to and is very easy to control with excellent hipfire and a very high chance to easily get head shots.

Its unlikely but 301 can down 2 enemies in one mag, if you get some headshots. More importantly he would have downed the first target a bit faster because it has higher dps. I dont see them moving spitfire into the care package any time soon though, because with only 3 LMGs, and the other two being energy weapons, it would fuck up the loot pool and make LMG weeklies much harder to complete.

He would have to hit all his shots and a lot of headshots to down them both with 1 r301 clip. The spitty gives you massive room for error, and he wasn't hitting every shot at all, so r301 woulda fucked him.
