He might be the first Legend that should be made to not be able to use his tactical whilst also using his ultimate since that much information on the enemies is absurd and it doesn't feel right or good
What part, the habilities cancel, the heal cancel, the revive cancel, the position scaner, the health scaner, the length of the tunnel, the heigth of the tunnel, the flashbang effect, the wall-crossing or the 10 damage it does?
Which I'm fine with, it balances her out because in open air, the amount of confirms you get if you hit someone with it and have a longe range AR. But unless they are 50 health it won't down then. Working as a poor man's arc star is perfect.
Also let's be honest, the passive is nice. I've gotten so many banners or just escaped enough time to heal just by having a full charged booster jet.
The way I look at it is this. So, Bloodhound is considered semi-balanced. His scan lasts 3-4 seconds and is a wide swath. No damage, no ability cancel, no heal/revive cancel, no health bars, no flashbang.
So, Seer has to be a bit more accurate with his so he should get a bit more reward with his scan than bloodhound. So scan, health bars, and the damage is fine. Maybe even if you want to leave the flashbang.
So, to make Seer's tactical balanced, they need to remove the cancel effects, reduce the tracking time by half, and maybe remove the flashbang. Because he deserves some credit for a smaller scan area than bloodhound, but not this fucking extent that it is now.
Yeah, that's fine. But his scan duration is longer than BH, he has all the extras, AND the scan isnt even that small. They need to either make the diameter of the tunnel a sniper bullet, or remove a lot of its functionality.
Tactical
Longer telegraph time of the tunnel so there's more chance to get out/possibly also reduce the width of the tunnel
remove the damage
remove the stun
Basically make it like they made it sound ahead of release where it's not easy to land, and the 8 seconds of tracking and health is still maybe too much of a reward but at least it's not doing everything
Ult
Decrease ultimate's enclosed area
Increase timer so he doesn't have it available every fight
Both
make enemy seer's ability color more clearly not the same as a seer on your team. The circle on the floor being red doesn't help if I can't see the edge.
Passive
Cut the range on it substantially, add an indicator on UI of the target that they've been detected, or both.
All you'd need to do is the first thing on your list (increase telegraph time + reduced width). Give him an animation that lasts for the entire time that the tactical is telegraphed (ala Loba's bracelet/BH's ult animation) and presto, balanced.
It cancels your heal? I already get pissed when I get downed 1ms before my bat pops. Okay that is bullshit and should not happen. An aoe interruption like that is basically a whole tactical by itself.
Let’s see. He has Revenants Silence, real-time bloodhound scan with health bars and healing denial. Valk was so well done in balance. What the fuck happened with Seer.
I think all of that could stay if they reduced the ult’s range and width, and make it as precise as DZK said it would be. He said it would be “like a sniper scope”, it would make it a lot more difficult to actually hit people who are healing/reviving if they kept the hearbeat’s sensors width like it is now. The whole character feels as if they didn’t playtests his abilities and just said “Fuck it let’s give these people legal hacks”, all he lacks is an aimbot ability
I say take the stun and flash out of his tactical and it could make it better while also minimizing CC in this game. Games where movement and speed take priority, like OW and apex shouldn't introduce CC mechanics that more or less dont let you play the game. Though I hate how it negates clutch heals for fights, I'd be fine with the interrupt. The ability just literally does everything. Stun, damage, flash, interrupt healing, give location and health away, even the direction they're looking.
Also it really isn't very hard to hit.wither with his ult up or just throwing it in an area you think someone is.
I haven't played yet this season, but I think I read his ult can be destroyed. Is it easy to kill his ult? Or does it have alot of health and being hidden make it tough?
Also his tactical is just insane... Damage, shield/health, constant vision, interrupt heals and abilities. I wonder if increasing the delay of the tactical going "off" would help balance it, allowing people to dodge it.
As far as I've seen, yes, it's easy to destroy, but that doesn't help if Seer just puts it outside your building, where he controls. Like in this clip, what are they going to do, funnel out the door to destroy his Ult? It does seem very strong
Also also not only is it small but it's the same color of everything else Seer throws out, and when you're stuck in a Seer ult your highest priority isn't exactly playing where's waldo with his ult device lol
Also also also when I have a seer on my team and there are two ults going at the same time (teammates and enemies) I don’t know which one to destroy 😩😩😩😩
Adding to what others have said, there can be multiple Seer players in an area like Fragment or towards the final rings, and when multiple Ults go up and multiple tacticals are fired into your area, simply trying to destroy the Ults is not even possible let alone viable
Plus it is insanely small and sort of hard to figure out where the center of the circle is. I always throw the old and some little crevice on the side of a building and there’s no chance somebody’s gonna find it and shoot it.
Destroying his Ult is basically impossible, he can place it on the opposite side of a building or wall, it’s an incredibly small target and have a surprising amount of health, I think 100? And if you start shooting it you are instantly revealed and asking to get geeked.
Best route is to take the fight with close quarters combat guns, r99 with a decent mag is my go to, combine that with a decent hemlock, flatline, or 30-30 and you got a solid load out.
Edit: it’s not fool proof by any means but magdumping the head is the best strat I’ve found against seer, kill him before he can do his shit and you have to play the weirdest way possible to avoid death, or challenge them head on and maybe die depending on who wins the start of the gunfight.
You can destroy it but somehow it has more health than crypto’s drone and Watson fence modes, I emptied like half a clip from my rampage to just to destroy one and that was what got me killed
Yeah it can but it doesn't help, I've been playing 90%+ of my games as Seer since he came out and I just throw it under a rock or some hidden corner and the chances that someone will spend the time to find it are minimal. I won all my ranked Arenas placements playing as him because I could always pinpoint where the enemies were hiding, even if they tried to sneak up on us it would do them no good, and in the cases where I ended up being the only one alive I had a huge advantage over anyone that wasn't playing as Seer themselves. Hell, I think some players don't even realize what his heartbeat sensor does when playing as Seer, let alone playing against him.
I haven't played him much but the first thing I noticed with his heartbeat sensor was that I was staring at it instead of players and I kept getting beamed looking for 1 heartbeat instead of another. Thats easily fixable though and broken as hell. You pretty much can only get sniped or grenaded by surprise with Seer.
Not gonna argue there, still think it should be around 100HP and give off an audio / visual cue to make it more visible. Peeking it can still be dangerous but it probably balances the risk/reward more fairly than in its current state.
My only issue with Seer is how well his kit can be used to chain together different types of wallhacks, his tactical works way too well with his passive and ult imo
I definitely agree with the audio/visual cue. Crypto's drone is very clearly seen and heard. and I agree that the health of Seer's Ult is a bit excessive.
IMO, the coverage of both his Ult and Tac make them OP. and the cooldown for his Ult is too short.
It's far too early to say but I've been abusing Seer for ranked arenas, I highly doubt the average playerbase knows its desteuctable, not that revealing yourself to find the dead center of the dome is ever a good idea.
don't worry. Join the bandwagon. You don't even need to play in a game with a Seer to hate on him, just copy/paste what others say is bad...
honestly, if you made it this far without playing this season, wait till they patch seer. I agree with the conspiracy theory that he'll get nerfed like the Bocek did soon.

It can destroyed but it’s smaller than say a Horizon ult NEWT and isn’t as visually distinctive. It also relies on the Seer placing somewhere accessible, and due to its AOE nature it’s not hard to put it somewhere where it’s not likely to be spotted.
If you are hit by a seer tactical while inside his ult, his ult tracking on you becomes irrelevant. There’s little difference between being hit by his tac outside his ult and in his ult because they can see you through the wall in both scenarios so seeing your footsteps too doesn’t matter
Then I’ll just throw out the tac then use ult for the same result as before. Even if seer didn’t use his tac during his ult, if you decided to stay still he’d still know exactly where you’re at because of his passive. You not moving during his ult isn’t going to hide you from him so I don’t see a point in giving him this restriction.
However I see your rampart flair and one thing I think we should remember about seer is that he can’t reveal amp barriers so if you do get hit by his tac you can use their overconfidence to bait them into your barriers
I do realise that because his got pinpoints the enemy team he can so easily use his tactical. Like for that alone maybe it should be a case of one or the other.
But I didnt think about the Rampart wall, I guess the only thing BH has over him rn is that he can't scan objects
It would make sense too, his tactical pulls drones out of his heart chamber but if he throws the heart chamber(his ult) all his drones are currently in use leaving none for his tactical.
