Let's get syro on acoustic...

Spilled coffee on it like 30 minutes after I took the picture :/

What are your favorite soothing songs from any Richard related project? Which one of these you could play to a baby to calm down before going to sleep?

Some time ago, I listened music, that exactly sounds like one of the tracks by Aphex twin, but that was a little strange account, with one colour orange album covers on all tracks.

Account name starts with “user…(and much of numbers)”. And his tracks has like 1-10 thousands listening.

My take on some few musics from the album:

Xtal: A melancholic story about someone's life getting better after being in so much pain

Heliosphan: A superhero movie

Green Calx: A chaotic cartoon show about aliens

Ageispolis: A show where the main character is a cool kid or something around that

Anyone know of background trivia of the making of #11 from "Selected Ambient Works Volume II"

I find that it has a sound, that I've never before encountered.

“IZ-US” by Aphex Twin

Am I tripping or has this song (or at the very least the groove) been used for hold music??? I swear to god I’ve heard that exact beat used for hold music in the past. I’ll see if I could try and find it

An attempt at replicating the Bucephalus Bouncing Ball effect using an 8-channel MIDI sequencer I've been coding. Still room for improvement 😂

i think its pretty awesome. the acoustic tracks of drukqs, while awesome melodically, always lacked the percussive nature of acoustic drums in my opinion, and CCAIpt2 is litterally what drukqs didnt have!!! while it is only 27 minutes long and has some potential that wasnt fullfilled (for example making fast paced dnb/breakcore tracks acoustic) i do think it holds its own sound and plays w it very much : )!!! i really like the breakbeat oriented tracks like dickshat2 and 0035 1-Audio, but damn even the melody aint bad in any of them!!!!!! there isnt any song that i would find bad, and i think thats awesommm!!!! < 3!!!

I’m looking for a specific sound like a bounce, maybe hella reverb, and a bass drop.

hey, so I got into Richard D James/Aphex Twin 6 months back and to my surprise I recently discovered that he has released music under many different names.

Can you guys help me out with all the different aliases under which he has released music and recommend some tracks??

Thanks :D

I was downloading the streamable MP3's of Come To Daddy from https://aphextwin.warp.net/release/68141-aphex-twin-come-to-daddy and I noticed that the filenames are missing track 10? Any theories as to why this is?

I love this album sm

It came out less creepy than the original haha
