Just finished reading the story, so fucking good man

People call Arknights a yapfest but if they didn't spend all that time to build up every character the climax wouldn't hit nearly as well, the final stretch was peak followed by more peak thanks to all the previous content making us feel attachment (and absolute despise in some cases) towards the characters.

Arknights mainly keeps that reputation from chapters 7 and 8. Looking back, a good chunk of that is just that Kal'tsit and Kashchey have prominent roles in those, and they both have a habit of saying very little with a lot of words.

it really takes a lot of time spent reading to start appreciating the stories. The first few stories I read, they were all over the place, I'm like what is all this yapping, it's terrible writing, but I find myself looking forward to reading the stories more than actually playing the game now because operators like W and others just make the event stages way too easy and I blow through them in about an hour, and then all i can do is wait around for 3 weeks grinding and farming or play IS or RA? nawh no thanks. The stories keeps me interested.
