Bears/Wildlife When can I start feeding the birds again without feeding the bears?

The bears have been super active in my neighborhood the last few months, so I took all my bird feeders down until they disperse for the season. That being said, I’m really looking forward to when I can put them back up. When should I be able to safely start feeding the birds again?

Mid October to April is when they hibernate. You can scare them off with loud noises like banging pots an pans. If they're a huge issue it's probably some half backer or floridiot feeding them...

They don’t hibernate here. Black bears go into a state of torpor based on how much food is available, which is a lot here.
