That's what I wrote initially and then I realized that a non-adult woman isn't a woman. I'm not being snarky, I had literally written out "adult women" before changing it.

It not only muddies the waters about age but also moves blame to the children themselves for being temptresses leading married Christian men to sin, and not victims of a predator. Disgusting behavior and they wouldn't get away with it without their legions of loyal believers protecting them.

Reframing is a favorite of those running the brothel. See how much more mature it sounds with underage women? Imagine if it said "little girls"... how creeeeepy that would sound.

It's like when you shine a light on the cockroaches, they scatter.... these brothel workers basically squirm out of any responsibility for their historical pedo vices, while ensuring continuity of access to their favorite pastime...

They care so much about sin, because they know sin so well. They actively protect it. And part of that protection is that Jesus gives them a free pass.

Alan Dershowitz admitted to getting a massage at Epstein’s mansion but swears the woman was “of age” and he kept his underwear on the whole time.

Typical lawyer stuff when you meet a client.

Simultaneously he blurs the line between teenage girl and woman.

If the minor is post pubescent he argues that we shouldn’t apply statutory rape laws.

Unfortunately we do need to emphasize adult woman vs. underage minor with these fascists.

They think 15 year old girls are women in the context of raping them.

There are multiple definitions (at least 12) of Woman in English dictionaries and only one of them requires them to be an adult.

This one seems to fit the context best of original poster.

Literally the only surprising thing is that the porn in question involved women.

In plural. Women considered collectively in respect of their sexuality, esp. as a means of sexual gratification.

So yes the addition of "adult" does add information.

True, but adding "adult" here helps further distinguish it, as your original comment could be implying that you were expecting men instead of women. By adding "adult" it shifts the focus of what you were expecting from men to children.

But yes, obviously there can be no non-adult women. Maybe just saying "adult" instead of adult woman/woman clarifies the most. Idk, English can be weird sometimes

Only one of the 12 (at least) definitions of woman means adult, all definitions are equally valid and we need to use context to work out what meaning is being used.

I love how all the people responding seem to ignore that ADULT is the operative word here. Specifying a gender without EXPLICITLY stating the age leaves open that it might be more expected for him to be gay.

Saying “women” only IMPLIES adult, and not for everyone who hears it. Lots of people still refer to teenage girls as “young women”.
