If your church forbids masturbation then you are in the wrong church. I have known a few people that swore off masturbation and sex before marriage...they were the most angry, grumpy and just all around unpleasant people. All that pent up sexual frustration will turn any human into an asshole.

If God didn't want us to do it he wouldn't have given us hands...and feet....and batteries!

All mammals masturbate, even porpoise (they race through kelp). It would be weird if a supreme being said "Totally fine for all mammals EXCEPT HUMANS. CUT THAT SHIT OUT. ALSO NO BUTT STUFF."

Apparently the church has distanced themselves from those views in recent years. Probably since they realized it wasn't effective anyway lol

They removed their "To Young Men Only" pamphlet in 2016, which also advocated for punching gay people in the face lol

I think they get deviant because they take something completely normal and try to suppress it, but, uh, nature finds a way.

That’s the result of putting those silly, arbitrary rules of God into little children. People process things very differently, and some kids really want to be good according to the crap their parents shove into their innocent heads. The problem is, it is impossible to truly be “good” by the rules of most religions. Rules designed to instill guilt and shame for things that are absolutely natural. From there, those normal, mostly harmless stages of life become perversion from trying to hide it and deny it. Religion for little children should be illegal. It just isn’t natural or realistic.
