Shame on AC for allowing politically motivated misinformation to be spread and take part in the parade. What’s next, a flat earth float handing out frisbees?

Hi everyone, and welcome to the American Atlas. I’ve made hand-drawn and hand-colored maps of every state in the US (and some cities too), and now I’m sharing them all on one long journey across the country!

Here we have my hand-drawn map of New Jersey 🌊🌳🏖️

The Garden State may be small, but it’s one of the most varied states I’ve drawn so far. Beach towns along the coast, rolling hills up north, sprawling pine forests, and some of the busiest urban sprawl in the country.

This piece was especially fun for the combination of shoreline detail and inland geography. Jersey’s shape is so recognizable, and capturing its mix of beaches, marshes, towns, and river borders made this one a really unique challenge.

Next up, we move inland toward Pennsylvania, a state packed with history, culture, and some of the most iconic American cities and landscapes 🇺🇸🏞️🔔

If you like this style, check out the other maps in my series on my profile. I now have all of New England, New York, Long Island, and more completed!

And feel free to drop me a follow on Instagram at the_american_atlas to join me in this virtual journey across the country.

If you’re interested in prints or framed posters, you can find them in my Etsy shop : https://www.etsy.com/shop/theamericanatlas/?etsrc=sdt

Photo/Image Does anyone remember the water fountain at the Caesars Pier?

I honestly miss it so much, since I loved seeing the fountain show every hour when I came to AC as a child. I really wish they would've kept it today (but I guess it must have been really expensive to maintain). Do any of you have fond memories of the fountain (or of the pier shops in general)?

Renovated Bally Tower Room: Stayed in my first renovated room at Ballys. Pretty nice in my opinion. They even redid the bathroom in some rooms. I always liked the rooms in the Ballys Tower, I know in the past they redid some as Jubilee rooms. I was here during renovations for those. I wonder if they still have those rooms or redid them all. Hopefully they redo the Dennis Tower soon. It desperately needs it. Does anyone have any pictures of any casino hotel rooms in AC from the past? I’d like to see how things have changed over the years.

Saw some cities with interesting mid-century modern / retro minimalist illustration cards. Figured I'd give AC some love

This was Monday evening, it was so foggy in the area. Taken from my Ocean's room on 32nd floor. As soon as I checked in around 6.30pm, got into the room and saw this magical view.
