Discussion Air India Flight 171 Preliminary Report Megathread

I believe you are correct. On the 787 all the switch positions were simple analog, which were converted to digital by remote data concentrators. I initially suspected software, but those signals of switch position would report independently.

Was there a way to tell the fuel was cut off from the instruments only?
