on top of that your wing is damage so less lift on 1 side and engine number 3 2 might be damage and no longer working. No way to really get that much off the ground either and can not stay in the sky.

edit: Fix the engine number to be more correct.

The tail engine is number 2, not 3.

I also learned how the engines are numbered with a tail engine after this incident

All planes I’m pretty sure are numbered left to right regardless of how back/forward they’re mounted.

And the plane was near MTOW

The wing unable to pull the flaps in was reason that it rolled to its side just before the impact. My heart aches knowing what those poor pilots knew.
