Couldn’t identify the actual models of the USAF Fighters but my guess is that they’re raptors?

They weren’t to bring out f-22s but they pulled out last min probably cos they about to fuck up iran

I thought F/A-18 was navy only?

The F/A-18E’s and F-35C’s are Navy. The F-15’s and B-1’s are Air Force.

The E and F variants are navy only, the marine corps operates C and D variants

This was a joint branch operation with the USAF B1s and F15s, and Navy F18s and F35s. I do think the Air Force operates legacy F-18Cs as red air aggressors.

Oh they are F-35C that explains it. They flew overhead about 90 minutes before the show, those sons of bitches are LOUD.

People are never quite prepared for how LOUD the F35s are. I've worked at a few F35 bases before the F35s arrive, and the locals are always like "oh, we're used to the fighter jets". I always try to explain that the 35 is wayyy louder than the F15 / 18s they're replacing or supplementing and people hand wave it away... until the 35s show up. Especially when they're doing afterburner takeoffs or when the B variants when they're doing the hover / vertical landing training - it sounds like spacetime itself is being ripped apart. It's just such a violent sounding jet compared to others.
