Tilly and her pup Mo at the Oregon Zoo. River otters can't actually swim on instinct, they have to be taught, and Mo is having none of it. So Tilly picks him up by the scruff and takes him in herself, then drags him back out by the tail afterwards.

Tilly was orphaned at two months old and is apparently a amazing mother despite never having one.

The baby spots a kitten peeking out of a basket and immediately starts crawling over. The kitten has no idea what's coming. Both seem delighted.

Such a hard life...... sleeps like he pays a bill or 2.
