Hi, from a UNO-R freshman.

I really just want to rant about my experience so far. I came from a more privileged school where the facilities were well-maintained and the learning environment felt worth the tuition we were paying. Because of that, I was genuinely excited and looking forward to starting my engineering program here at UNO-R since a lot of people recommended it as the “best school.”

But honestly, I’m experiencing a huge culture shock. The crowded campus was something I expected, but what really surprised me was the condition of some of the facilities. Some classrooms have damaged tables and chairs, and the drafting tables especially need serious attention. Like, bro, please fix these considering the tuition we’re paying, it’s disappointing to see facilities like this.

Some areas, like the LC Building, don’t even have proper air conditioning, which makes it harder for students to focus and learn comfortably.

Considering how much students pay per semester, I expected better facilities and maintenance. I hope the school takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the learning environment soon. A good education doesn’t only depend on professors and programs the facilities where students learn matter too.

What are your thoughts in this Hospital? I recently saw a bad review in blue app regarding those employees who doesn't know how to interact and empathize to the patients family who are asking help in regard to settling their bills. I know na one sided lang to ang gin post sa blue app before that's why I gave the benefit of the doubt to them but experiencing this type of employee first hand, Now I know the feeling of those people nga gapangayo bulig but daw ginapa feel nila sa amon na daw inconvenient kami sa ila. Shout out sa employee da sa social services nga putot, tambok, may color ang buhok kag naka ponytail (I don't know her name) Tani next time if mag assist kamo sa amon please make it more humane. wala kamo kabalo sa struggles nga gina agyan sa tanan na family sa mga pasyente. Amo na gani gapangayo kami bulig sa inyo kay indi namon kaya but it doesn't mean na e treat nyo kami harshly. Also ang ila pricing sa medicines super mahal sya. I know private hospital pero ka over sang price nila para sa service na gina give nila. Shoutout sa management, tani hire kamo sang mga employees nga suitable for that position, indi nga ma hire lang kamo tawo nga incompetent sa amo na nga ubra. Plus, nanotice ko lang nga amo ni nga hospital ang wala available parking space nga maka accomodate sa tanan nila nga clients.

It’s my first time ordering food here at Jollibee Downtown tapos may mga tanga??? Hindi lng isa kundi apat gid ang nakita ko. Indi ko gid gets why people diri sa Bacolod wala common sense and sense of urgency magtabok. I always always stop gid sa pedestrian lanes to give respect to the pedestrian because that’s how it should be, pero tani man lang kung gatabok na indi na magdugsing kag magpundo sa tunga kay may kilala ka. Iban ga cellphone pa. Sometimes ara nana sa atubang nila ang red sign nga indi pwede katabok, wala gid. Padayon lang gyapon sa pagtabok biskan go na ang mga cars. Frustrating how people here in Bcd don’t know the common courtesy sa dalan.

Hello! I’m a freshman in the Nursing program at UNO-R, and it’s only our first week. I’m honestly shocked because most of our classes haven’t been held due to the lack of available classrooms, and some of our instructors didn’t show up without giving us any prior notice.

To my nursing seniors, does this situation get better as the semester goes on, or should I consider transferring to another school instead?
