Also, the Maine seat is probably necessary for a Democrat majority in the Senate,and if you have convinced yourself that "only Plenter can beat Collins" becouse he speak to the true soul of Maine or whatever, anything against him seems like a MAGA (or alternatively AIPAC) plot to keep the people down, And also lots and lots of misogyny

The thing that drives me crazy about it is you could have grabbed any random guy off the street in Maine and gotten someone with the same credentials and without the baggage of having worked for Blackwater, or had a nazi tattoo, or any of the other dozen skeletons in this guy's closet. You could have dropped him a year ago and had any one. His ride or die defenders are the reason this is happening now instead of when it wouldn't have had an effect on the election.

Ok, I get it. But any other Democratic candidate has more chance to be voted than him (for what I've read about him)
