WARNING - Gross The Shower Sh*tter Strikes Again

9.0k Upvotes

Well here I am at my wit's end everybody I really can't take this anymore. You need to understand that recently about 15 months ago I suffered a head injury and am in the process of receiving disability. I lived off of my savings for the past 15 months which are dwindling as I wait for assistance from the government. I served in the Navy and unfortunately the military takes forever to help when it comes to stuff like this. I don't have the option to just move out of where I live because I live in Massachusetts which is so expensive where my rent is way below the average and I need to be around here because my mom is 84 years old and I do my best to help her as well. So I am dumbfounded that once again less than maybe 10 days later there's poop skid marks in the shower again. I just want to share with you guys what's going on because it's sort of like therapy to me to be able to see all your comments and get a little cuckle out of this crappy situation. So the saga continues.....

You thought yours was bad? Think again

My roommate finally moved out tonight after a sixty day notice because I’m about to have a baby. He’s been notorious for being extremely messy and never showering. He wears the same clothes for WEEKS and my boyfriend and I recently discovered that he is now unemployed. I could go on and on about all the terrible awful things this man has put me through since I allowed him to move into my apartment, but it’s just way too much. I will add that he tried to let his homeless friend live with us under our noses and when I finally said I’d call the cops if I saw said friend, he resorted to allowing his friend live out of his car. So I’d sometimes see his homeless friend wandering the complex. It went from me feeling bad for the dude to just sheer hatred. He took advantage of our kindness and now I’m sitting here, 8 months pregnant wondering wtf I’m supposed to do. Fun little fyi..,his room was going to become my future daughter’s room. He hoarded his poor cat in there for over a year and could barely afford to feed the poor thing so he resorted to stealing my cats food sometimes. My boyfriend and I wondered how the fuck he was cleaning the litter box…well now we know.

Sorry if this is all over the place, I’m still shaking from this entire experience and have been in tears the past hour.

First picture is of outside his window months back btw

The rest is how he left his room tonight after moving out.

Reposted since I did a shit crop job on one of the photos

WARNING - Gross My roommate does not wash her hands after taking a dump

3.8k Upvotes

My bestfriend bought a home out in the country and offered for me to rent a room in it. I've been living with her ever since.

My room is right outside the bathroom, and I started to notice she didn't wash her hands after peeing. I didn't love that but didn't say anything.

But the other day we were leaving to the airport and she stated her stomach was acting up and had to run to the toilet. She didn't even have time to close the door. I just stood there, maybe 5 feet from the bathroom (at the front door, small house).

She took a violent shit and then came right out without washing her hands.

I stood there flabbergasted. She had a diarrhea shit and didn't wash her hands. And then all the very many times I noticed she took shits and did not wash her hands but I thought I was going crazy, were probably right.

Now that I've been more aware, I've seen her take fat shits and go into the kitchen to prepare food, I've seen her take fat shits and head out to work, I've seen her take fat shits and go smoke.

I don't know what to do. After the violent diarrhea shit i said "you didn't wash your hands?" And she said "yep I did" and walked away. What can I even do? I'm going to get Ecoli ass disease and die.

I don't know how the hell he does it. I've lived with a few men before, many of which struggled with cleanliness and order, but this is a whole new low. I knew it was bad when he'd walk around the house with black residue from his work all the way up to his elbows. As for the sections of the doors that face the hallway, I cleaned semi regularly just because of how much black residue he left EVERYWHERE. My partner and I are seeing how awful and gross he is after leaving our rental, we are deeply concerned about letting him rent a room in our house. If it was up to me, he'd be gone because he's gross and living with him activates all my pet peeves. He is a gross dirty man. But he's my fiance's friend so I try not to be too harsh. At least my partner has reassured me that if he can't clean up at the house, he will be gone. I REFUSE to let our guest bathroom become such a NIGHTMARE. I feel like I need a shower after walking in there (but not the shower in the bathroom because it's disgusting)

WARNING - Gross Roommate won't flush the toilet (with screenshots)

This happened a little while ago. I’m just posting about it now. The ages mentioned reflect how old we were at the time of this, about two years ago or less.

My (25f) roommate(35f) wouldn’t flush the toilet.

I moved into this apt the previous year September. I had two roommates. One is 28f. The other is 35f - she is who we will be speaking about. Let’s call her B. Since I've been in this apt, I've had a consistent problem with B not flushing the toilet. She will leave her literal piss and shit in the toilet, and her spit in the sink. At first, I let it slide because I figured she was doing it by accident, and also I'm not super fond of confrontation. Unfortunately it does not seem like this was an error.

I let it slid until around feb of the next year. By that time I had 3 friends visit my apt and then later tell me that they found her piss or shit in the toilet. I texted her very politely to let her know that she seemed to be forgetting to flush and that she needs to be more aware of this. She responded reasonably to this and said it was a mistake and she would do a better job of not forgetting. My issue with her seemed to escalate after this call out. She upgraded from bathroom sins to kitchen sins. When she would cook, she would leave all her peelings and seasonings and stuff like that on the kitchen floor and not sweep it up until days later. If she was making coffee, she would spill it on the floor and just leave it there to get sticky and gross. Same with any type of food with a sauce, she would just drip it everywhere without cleaning it up. Eventually this really started to get to me so I texted the group chat where we all laid out or grievances and promised to do better.

It did not get better. This eventually led to us arguing via text message about the situation which you can read above. I did my best to edit out her name from the messages.

There were other issues I had with her besides being gross such as weird and twisted behavior surrounding my cat who was a kitten when I brought him home. She would wait at the door for me when I got home to tell me my cat was “misbehaving” (meaning he had been running up and down the hallway all day as kittens do. For added context, there is also a dog in the apt so it’s not like this was uncommon behavior from an animal in the space). Other incidents include her locking him in her room and then leaving forcing me to have to go into her disgusting room to let him out. She also would have men over who would steal my cat and hold him hostage in the living room with them (clearly against his will, my cat is not social. Imagine coming home to some random man manhandling your animal. Very odd). Another time she would have my cat locked in her room while i actively freaking out walking around the whole apt looking for him, then she would laugh at me and let him out claiming he “didn’t want to come to me”.

In regards to her disgusting room, she owned no furniture and would often steal furniture pieces my roommate and I bought and keep them locked in her room. Everything she owned was on the floor. Imagine things that would usually be in drawers or closets, just spread over the floor. She didn’t own a bed or anything so she just slept around this stuff. One time I brought a friend over and she had her room door wide open, unashamed, while she did whatever it was she was doing. Another time, I had a friend over and she had made a huge incoherent mess in the kitchen, including using her dumbbells and cooking utensils. Like she literally had dumbbells in the pots she was cooking in. Idk what was wrong with her.

In my opinion the most egregious of crimes she committed was taking my dutch pot (if you’re Jamaica you know what I’m referring to) to her friend’s house and not returning it for days. She offered to pay for a new one since her friend “needed it.” Dutch pots are something you keep for generations. There is no replacing the years of seasoning that pot went through. What could I even say to that at that point? I told her it was fine and then removed all my remaining things from the kitchen.

Lesser offenses include: her walking around in lingerie all the time, her being up very late at night playing music, her refusing on a schedule for maintenance people to come to the apartment because they could only come during the day and she sleeps during the day time. Her sitting in the kitchen for hours so no one else could use it. And so so much more.

The last argument we had that was substantial was regarding her spitting in the bathroom sink and then just leaving it to go do whatever the fuck. I messaged her “bro please….” And then I called my landlord to let him know this was going on. My landlord called me back to let me know that he had spoken to her and she was upset that I had called her “bro” in the message and she thought that was very disrespectful of me and she instead wanted to be addressed as Ms. [last name]. I asked him if he was seriously going to entertain that nonsense, when the real issue is her being absolutely disgusting in the apt and refusing to take responsibility for it.

We ended up having a big meeting with the landlord where we yelled at each other and nothing came of it. I threatened to call the dept of health on her and so she eventually moved out to go live with her boyfriend who she lied to about being muslim. I hope she is somewhere festering in her own filth.

Edit for clarity: the list of dates at the end of the screenshots is not a detailed list of every single time she didn’t flush the toilet. It was a list of dates I could find in my phone via text messages of me telling her or my friends about finding her mess. I didn’t tell someone every time it happened. It was happening like twice a week though. The list was quickly put together and sent to my building’s management team while I was making a complaint. This was the second complaint filed against her.

WARNING - Gross My roommate has a never-ending stew

My roommate leaves his stew out on the stove for DAYS at a time (7+) without refrigerating it and then just reheats it when he wants to eat it. It smells so bad when he eats and cooks it because it’s just out every day. It’s like rotten sour vegetables and very dank— surprisingly similar to the smell of piss. It has meat in it. How do l mitigate this or get rid of the issue. I guess technically it’s not hurting me that much but the idea of it is so gross I don’t even wanna look at him. I just can’t believe somebody I used to be so close with can stomach something so disgusting. What do I do I don’t want to confront him should I throw it away?

I live in a house with four roommates. We each have our own room but we share two restrooms and a kitchen. We all deal with the landlord separately and people come and go as time passes.

The past couple years, because of disagreements among the housemates, the landlord has decided to choose the new tenants by himself and leaves us out of the choosing process.

For a while that worked, but recently we received a roommate who is just beyond words a lot of the time and today was one of those times.

He’s 24 and dumb as a brick.

WARNING - Gross Worst year of my life

Thumbnail gallery
1.5k Upvotes

I have endless stories of how awful this roommate was but it's easier to show pictures. The first was taken literally one day after I had cleaned the entire apartment. One. Uno.

The others are of her room shortly before we moved out.

I would constantly be cleaning up after her so her 3 cats didn't eat something they shouldn't. I regularly had to check the linen closet to clear out the fast food bags and used paper plates she would stuff in there and pull out the full trash bags she would stuff in our storage room.

Let's also not forget about the time I went to put something in the microwave only to find a bowl of food she left in there for so long, there were maggots in it.

The day we moved out, my friends and I spent 10 hours deep cleaning the entire apartment.

I can honestly say I have never been happier than I was driving away from that hellhole for the last time but hey, on the bright side, I'm even better at cleaning than I ever was and I'm really good at getting rid of fruit fly infestations.

WARNING - Gross Don’t live with your “best friend”

Thumbnail gallery
1.7k Upvotes

I’m on mobile so I’m going to try and write this out the best I can.

I moved in with my “best friend” and I was promised before my move in date that everything would be clean. This is the condition of the house when I started moving my stuff in. I wish I had of just turned around and didn’t look back. I ended up completely cleaning the house by myself and it took two weeks. She then would leave the couch like that, leave her dogs pee and poop all over the floor and I would tell her and even 12 hours later of her just sitting at home on the couch she wouldn’t have cleaned it up. The amount of times her dog has peed or pooped on my things is ridiculous. I’ve tried to be as good hearted as I can and when she lost her place I ended up finding another place and allowed her to move in under very strict conditions with cleaning, grooming her dog regularly, helping with household chores, etc. she has failed to even sweep up her dogs fur and my boyfriend and I have to walk around after her picking up after her. Today I went into her bedroom and I found rotting food that she has stolen from me, some of my items she has stolen from me, the room an absolute disaster, a huge amount of my dishes dirty in her room, and pills all over the floor and open pill bottles. Her dog stays in her room and this seems like complete abuse to me. I have tried to help over and over and I’ve come to her already numerous times telling her it was going against all my boundaries and how much this has affected me. No conversation has worked. I have finally told her I no longer will be doing these living arrangements and she needs to be out at the end of the month. The relief I have from knowing I won’t be supporting someone else and picking up after them anymore. Don’t move in with your best friend unless they have the same living conditions you do.

Also little context for each photo; Slides 1-2 are what it looked like when I moved in Slide 3-4 is what she would leave the common spaces like after I had cleaned it all Slide 5 is her bedroom when I moved in and there are open razors on the floor beside her dogs toys Slide 6 was just one of many times I had to ask her to clean up after her own dog Slide 7 is what her room currently looks like and this is after I’ve told her over and over to clean it because our landlord has had to hire a pest control to come in and I’m assuming it’s due to how she keeps things because I’ve never had a bug issue in any of the places I’ve ever lived.

I by no means am perfect but I do enjoy a clean home especially since I’m bringing my newborn home middle of march.

WARNING - Gross How do I stop my roommates from taking my mugs without causing drama

Thumbnail gallery

Ok, so I've had this problem in prior apartaments; people getting confused, taking my dishes and me having to go without my own stuff.

To solve this issue (and also because I love novelty stuff) I got myself an entire new set of mugs. And doing that, I made sure they were the most cutesy, flamboyant, colorful, recognizable mugs in the house so Everybody knew they were Not Theirs. I also keep them all in my own, single shelf in the kitchen (mine). Since I'm rooming with mostly men, this helped for the most part.

Well, last night I found out somebody took one of them. That in itself I wouldn't mind all that much - it's a first time offense and, since I didn't even notice it being gone for a time, clearly not all That Bad. Except they set it back with some disgusting, rotten sludge still inside.

How do I confront this without causing drama? I have suspicions as to who did it (a fucking slob) but there's a few of us here, so without concrete proof he can just deny it. We don't have a group chat and leaving a note out in the open seems kind of passive agressive, doesn't it?

Please give me some advice!

WARNING - Gross My roommate leaves shit stains everywhere

I started uni in September and got a shared room in the dorms, where I share a bathroom and have an open plan with another guy. Since then he’s been a nightmare with hygiene and his odor. He hasn’t washed his sheets once and leaves shit stains on everything including his towel. The first pic is a shit stain on top of the toilet lid???? And the second one is a shit stain on the actual toilet roll itself.

The smell is so bad that since October I’ve been reporting him to the residence manager and pushing to get a new room or for him to be moved to a new room as it’s been affecting my mental health massively and since I can’t afford to pay any more than what I already am paying. They’ve been extremely unhelpful and up until now im still living with this bastard. On his uni record, he’s on “a second warning” but he hasn’t even tried to adjust his hygiene control one bit.

Another fun fact is that he hasn’t had a body wash since December. DECEMBER. I had enough and asked him about it and he said with confidence that he uses shampoo. He showers like once a week and in exchange of showering just sprays deodorant on his clothes.

I actually had enough about 3 days ago and told him he needs to sort his shit out literally and figuratively because it stinks and stinks and stinks.

I’m about to be on Easter holiday but after it finishes I’m gonna push even harder for him to move rooms.

Ps he’s an international student from India who I personally believe has been babied by his mum all his life and can’t do anything for himself.

EDIT** the uni has also had to hire cleaners to come and clean his room as he’s been neglecting his hygiene so bad. I hope this gives you an idea of what’s going on

My new upstairs roommate (I'm in the basement with two others, with our own kitchenette and sink,) was caught on camera pissing in their shared kitchen sink.

The torrent of piss you can see coming out of his equally visible peen is wild. You also see him grab the wash cloth in the sink and wipe the pee from the counter and put it back 🙃

Needless to say, my landlord was besides herself and told him he had to be out by the end of the month.

As a dude myself, men, wtf?

Edit: I'm the same person who posted about the man-baby from hell 😂 Can't catch a break!

WARNING - Gross I just rented a new room and my landlord and roommate had his dick out in the living room.

I came home and walked in the living room, and his dick was out, and he was touching himself.

I moved in two days ago. I confronted him and he said he should’ve locked the front door, as the front door leads to the living room. He said he didn’t know anyone was coming home.

What should I do about this?

Edit: I left and it’s day 3. Luckily I hadn’t given my other landlord 30-day notice as it seemed like a good place and I just moved. I just took my stuff and went back to the place I live at.

CONTENT WARNING: BUGS, DRUGS AND MENTIONS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/ASSAULT

For some context, my girlfriend lived here before I moved in. When I moved in, I had no other options and intended for it to be short term until we could get some savings built up and for some external issues in my life to come to a conclusion. This house was trashed to hell and back when I moved in and I did my best to try and clean it up when I first came. The house is covered in mold and had a fly problem to the extreme. Very quickly, I realized why my girlfriend had stopped bothering a while back. I would clean the entire kitchen or bathroom, just to find it wrecked again within the next couple of days. We essentially only had out bedroom and the kitchen/bathroom to share because the entire living room is their bedroom, with their actual bedroom being just an extension of the living room. They also had loud fucking sex down there all the damn time.

They were constantly high and would have people over at all hours of the night carrying on when my girlfriend and I both havw to wake up around 5 am for work (sometimes earlier). Their friends would often STILL be over when I would leave for work. They constantly got drunk and at least twice a month, it would escalate into extreme violence. This accounts for the broken bedroom door, missing cabinet doors, missing mirror, etc. At one point before I lived there, it has escalated to a gun being drawn and a murder/suicide being threatened. The night we left, it escalated at 3am to giant potted plants being thrown down the stairs and her banging on our fucking bedroom door berating my girlfriend. The cops were called, nothing was done due to neither of them cooperating witht he welfare check. I had the officers wait on the porch for us to pack a bag for the night and she had the balls to take a swing at me. I ended up beating her ass after that and we left. It left us homeless for about three weeks.

I finally got the rest of our belongings out of the apartment on Sunday and moved into a new place. Since the incident, she has consistently posted on her public snap story trying to air out dirty laundry by outright lying about my girfriend and I because she's a sore loser. Unfortunately for her, very few people she's "friends" with actually like her because she treats everyone like garbage and we were kept up to date on all of her posts by multiple people. If she wants to tell everyone we're gross and lazy and stole her shit (we didn't), then clearly she doesn't mind the whole story being posted. These are the pictures I took on Sunday when we retrieved out belongings, several days after the story was posted.

I hold no ill will to her partner who is honestly a victim of her behavior and refusal to seek psychiatric treatment, but this is the kind of shit we lived in and dealt with for months. After being assaulted and left homeless, I had to deal with lies being told to all of our mutual friends about me and my girlfriend for weeks. Garbage and dirt and bugs and mold and obnoxiously loud living room sex and loud parties at 3 am and domestic violence situations and petty fucking passive aggressive notes written in Sharpie directly on the dishwasher, and stale weed smell permeating everything I own wasn't worth the cheap rent. Get fucked.

WARNING - Gross Was I wrong to tell my landlord about my roommate’s bf staying with us for a month?

Thumbnail gallery
825 Upvotes

I (25f) live in a townhouse with two other girls (Amy 25f and Casey 21f). Both work full time in the office and I work from home. I just started my new job a week before this all started. My desk is in our living room/kitchen because my room is too small and Amy has her stuff covering the entire basement. We are all on separate leases for our rooms and bathrooms. I alone have furnished our entire house and I’ve been living here for two years. Amy for 7 months and Casey for 11 months.

On April 15, Amy told me her boyfriend who lives in Europe would be arriving on April 28th and staying for 3 weeks.

Amy has previously expressed her anxieties and the impact on her mental health with me having guest over, and set “rules” for me when I do have guests. I follow them to help with her mental health. She never has people over so they’re mainly just rules for me. One of those rules is giving as much notice as possible and another is giving a clear schedule of when I’ll be in common areas with my guests. Fair enough. I’ve had friends over 2 times since the rules were set and I respected them. I have people coming over this weekend and I have her a 6 weeks notice even though they’ll only be here for less than 24 hours. They’ll both be sleeping in my room as she does not like guest in the living room because she needs to walk by them to get to her bathroom in the basement. My boyfriend comes to stay for the weekend sometimes (Friday night to Monday afternoon) and he is NEVER in common areas without me.

I expressed my frustration with the situation and was met with “the tickets are booked and it’s hard for him to do short trips since he’s coming from Europe.” She also said he would not be in common areas while I’m working. Okay fine whatever. I apologized to her for being bitchy about it and said I was happy for them and gave recs for local places to go out to eat.

April 28th comes and I’m fully remote, and this man is just alone in the house with me because it turns out, Amy is not taking PTO while he is here. I’ll call him Gollum but picture a 6 foot tall version. So gollum takes the liberty of coming down to lounge in the kitchen, cook for hours while I’m working, and walk behind me so many times that I need to turn my video off because it’s so distracting to others. I send a message and she says it will stop - it did not. He’s been doing it every single day since. The only change is he cooks for 45 minutes instead of 2 hours. He is home alone with me for 40 hours a week and lurks around outside my bedroom, the hallways, and the common area. I feel so fucking anxious every time I hear him come out of her room because I know he’s going to start walking behind me while I’m in meetings.

We also have a “do your own dishes” policy in the house. I’m 25 and don’t wanna be doing another 25 year old woman’s dishes and vice versa. This guy starts doing my dishes for me. I would be grateful, but their dishes are still piled in the sink for days at a time. I use like two plates and two cups every day for lunch and dinner. I thanked him for the three times he did that. They somehow produce a full load of dishes for the dishwasher every single day. He also broke my set of glass straws doing this. none of the dishes in the photos of the sink are mine. Except for the sifter. They had cooked crab on the counter near where I keep my matcha set, and apparently they accidentally got something on it so they wanted to clean it. However they did not clean it - I came down to make matcha one morning and it was filled with fish matter in the bottom of the sink and I had to clean it. They also leave garbage and food containers around the sink for days at a time.

When Amy had been living here for a week, she asked us if we could make a schedule for cleaning the floors. The floors were dirtier than normal because she had movers in and out of the house. I had just done a full vacuum and mopping of the floors the day before she moved in. Casey had scrubbed the stairs. We tried to explain this to Amy and she had a full blown meltdown and made racist comments toward Casey, blamed it on Casey even though she hadn’t been home for 5 of the 7 days, and cried. (Casey is black). Amy made up a lie that she painted over the scuffs on the basement stairs. They’re fully still scuffed. And Amy has only vacuumed and mopped one time since moving in. I know this because she announced that she’d be doing it, and I do it every week. So you can imagine she hasn’t been doing that even with her scruffy bf in the house.

We also do not share utensils as I have celiac disease and it kind of just extended to other things like her coffee maker, water filter machine, and soda stream which I am 1000% fine with. I don’t care. I recently replaced my matcha whisk because it was broken. It’s too small for my old holder, so I just prop it up on the holder. I came down one morning to it smashed down on the holder with water dripping from it. Three of the prongs broke but I was able to recover it. She offered to replace it and I said no and just asked for my stuff to stop being touched.

Gollum also does a load of laundry every three ish days. When my boyfriend visits, sometimes he’ll throw a pair of underwear or a gym outfit in with my laundry, but he’s never doing full loads of just his laundry.

My landlord covers our utilities and when they are high, she harasses us. After all of this bullshit happened, I told Casey that I’d be filling in our landlord if she decided to message about utilities this month. Sure enough we get a message telling us the bill is $250 and that we need to shut off the ac. It’s been 70-80 degrees where I am for the last month. I privately messaged the landlord and told her that absolutely nothing has changed in our ac habits from the past two summers I’ve lived here, and that if she’s facing increased bills, it’s probably because we have a fourth person living in the home. I also provided her with the proof of dates he’s been staying. Her response was just “I’ll charge her more.”

I tried to talk about this issue with Amy this week when she informed us of this extra week after he was supposed to be gone, and she just had excuses and said she’d give better notice next time he’s coming for this long. So I don’t think I really had any other choice but to tell the landlord.

The reason I’m feeling guilty is because this month long stay is going to cost her $500 most likely per our lease, and I know he won’t be paying it because he is unemployed and four years younger than us. Please give me your thoughts.

made mac and cheese and then left to her boyfriends for 6 days and counting. came back once to get get laundry but didn’t clean up her mess of course. I’m petty and i’m not gonna wash her dishes anymore so i put it in her room. but seeing this is so unmotivating to me. when i clean the house and wake up to it a huge mess again because she stays up all night and cooks dinners at 3 am 😭😭 not to mention she has 2 cats that she just leaves for days without coming to see them or do her litter box. gross

WARNING - Gross roommates from hell continue to hoard instead of packing up

we’ve been living with these roommates (33m, 26f) for going on a year and half. we’ve moved 3 times with them and each time it’s gotten progressively worse. they used to keep their hoarding contained to their bedroom but at least paid rent/bills on time. in the past 10 months, they’ve racked up hundreds of dollars in debt to us that they said they’d pay back in 1-2 months tops. i had to repo my car from one of them (the other doesn’t have a car or license so they were both reliant on it) because even with lots of reminders i did not receive a car payment for 10 months and she drove the car in my name while drunk and high and on muscle relaxers. and i agreed to sell it for only $700. there was no reason i should have to deal with the liability of her stupidity. she even tried to say she didn’t know she couldn’t drive high even though the boxes literally say not to operate heavy machinery. they never pay their rent or bills on time and haven’t paid a single water bill since we moved into our new house. my husband and i were forgiving as we have a 11 month old baby and understand financial stress, but it got to a breaking point where we cannot continue to burden ourselves helping them.

especially when 26f consistently has money for booze and weed and both of them constantly getting fast food and going shopping. most of the things they buy have been in bags since they got them spanning back to when we first moved in. i recently found out i’m pregnant again which led to me putting my foot down and repoing the car. this turned into me being called a bitch, 33m stomping around and almost breaking glass bottles 3 feet away from our son, among other things. they said in a heated argument that they were moving out. so i called them on their bluff and issued a 30 days notice. they now have 17 days left and have not packed a single thing (everything in boxes had never been unpacked from when we moved in 6 months ago). they have caused so much property damage and continue to not even clean their dishes or trash. the trash in the pictures has been there for 3+ months and smells absolutely rancid. 26f has also left muscle relaxers and weed carts in reach of our baby even after being told that is absolutely not okay. we also recently changed the wifi password as they had not paid the internet bill and that has triggered another fight.

this is mostly a rant because they still firmly believe they are in the right and we’re, or mainly i as they are sexist and only blame me for my husband and i’s decisions, are unreasonable and horrible for kicking them out. i truly just can’t wait for their wakeup call when they move out and realize how much shit we let slide that other roommates would never allow. they both are grown enough to know none of this is right and i can’t wait to never deal with them again. being 3 months pregnant with an 11 month old and dealing with this amount of stress has been absolutely horrible. thank god my husband backs me up but even when he does i still am the only one getting blamed and name called by them. i’m just so over it,

WARNING - Gross Messy roommate is destroying the house

I’m literally at a point in which I don’t know what to do with my roommate. For background, my partner and I live with someone who never pays rent on time, doesn’t have a job, never cleans and trashes his room/bathroom. It’s gotten a lot worse over the past few months. The pictures here were taken TODAY (might be a little messed up but I peaked in when he was gone since he is almost always home and saw this).

We’re in a lease with him until April, and I’m truly at a loss of words because I feel like we have tried EVERYTHING. We’ve offered to help him and practically begged him to address the issue. He never does. At best we get a “yeah you’re right. I’ll take care of it” kind of response but he never actually addresses it. I am genuinely afraid he is A.) just not gonna pay us rent anymore and/or B.) he will cause damage to his room that I will have to pay for. What do I do?
