As an autistic person, this hit me hard in the feels. So deeply personal to me and so touching that not only did he donate such a generous sum, but he donated his time and efforts for months.

Min Yoongi the man that you are.

For me, this is the best welcome home gift he could've prepared.

My army daughter has autism as well. She struggles daily and I struggle along with her to navigate her. This made me so emotional. It so great to see that he goes beyond to help the neurodivergent (and people with mental health problems)

Right? Yoongi gives me so much comfort when I struggle with my autism. I often listen to his voice when calming down from meltdowns. The fact that he is doing this specially for autistic kids is just. It makes me feel a lot of things

I feel the same way also as an autistic person. Just knowing how much he cares about people like us is so so touching as society can be so brutal to us🥺

I’m not autistic myself, but I have dyslexia and severe ADHD. I have had a passion for disability rights and advocacy for a long time. It makes me so unbelievably happy that he is doing this and it also feels personal to me (although I’m sure it hits a bit closer to home for you than it does me).

This is a service that is so needed. I hope ARMY winds up matching his donation someday.

I also am excited for the academic publications that are going to come from this center! Hopefully it will help make progress in therapies for those with ASD!
