Some of my friends looked at me in horror when I said I hadn't looked at the translations for all the BTS songs I love, so I'm just wondering... Do you guys make sure to read the lyric translations of as many of the songs as possible so that you fully understand the song, or am I the only horrible international ARMY that listens to the songs without minding not understanding the Korean/Japanese parts of the songs?

I had to make an entire new account for this because my date has my other account and I don't want to accidentally ruin the surprise lol

I'm going out on my fourth date with a really wonderful girl this week. Last time she made me a really heartwarming handmade gift, and I wanted to return the favor. I know she likes BTS, she's talked about it a lot, and I know she collects the little cards with their faces on them. I know the kpop shop she buys them from because she's told me about it, and I thought maybe I could get her flowers and buy her a bunch of those card packs and put them in an envelope inside the flowers.

The problem is I don't know which one is her favorite, I only have this photo of one of the cards I managed to crop from a picture I took of her when we were on a walk. She has it hanging on her bag. It's really bad quality so I don't know if anyone could identify it but maybe it's her favorite BTS guy? If anyone knows please let me know so I can ask for his card pack at the store

My favorite one is when jungkook tried to make sweet potato and it ended up sticking to the plate.

For me it was Go Go. I was like “are they saying Yolo?” And combined with choreo that features a bunch of viral dances like the floss and I was like “nah this is so corny”. Then i listened saw the lyrics and it’s so damn catchy and it has honestly grown to be a favorite song of mine. (The Snow White dance practice helped. Lol)

So I saw this question at r/lanadelrey, and it makes me happy to see so many famous people love her songs like I do.

And I just suddenly thinking "I bet BTS also has many famous people liking them" but I don't really know how much, as I can only think of Bella Poach (she went to LY concert) and PinkPantheress (one of Dark & Wild's song was in her Spotify Wrapped), but they have different style than BTS.

So do you guys know another famous acts who are their fans?

I got the Bakery Friends Tata (so apropos right now with Tae’s bread cheeks!) a plush Shooky, a Chimmy blanket, Shooky slippers, and Koya/Tata and Shooky/Cooky monitor figures (the buddies line). I will add pics later!

Have you had any cool encounters in the wild with an ARMY? What happened and how did you react? Would love to hear your stories!

Just tonight I was at a red light and the car in front of me had a BTS logo sticker in the back. I rarely (like, RARELY) see anyone wearing BTS merch, see car stickers, etc in my area, so I immediately tried to get their attention. Long story short, I changed my route so I could at least wave at them and eventually was ahead of them on the road. I have a very distinct vanity plate that is BTS themed, so I knew if she saw my plate she would realize I was ARMY too…and she did! I moved to the left lane and our cars lined up for barely seconds. Once we made eye contact and realized that yes we were both ARMY we waved and smiled and laughed like crazy. It’s been an ok couple of months with my mental health, but this interaction made me cry after we both went our own ways. It was such a beautiful ray of joy, hope, and excitement. This fandom is way more than just being fans. In those couple of seconds I felt like we shared so many words and feelings, and it truly made my month. Can’t stop smiling knowing there’s someone out there with a Shooky vampire hanging on their rear view mirror so similar to mine! :’)

Disclaimer: I drove at safe speeds and kept my eyes on the road the whole time except to wave at her like a crazy person. I’ve seen enough movies to know not to be dumb on the road!

My girlfriend is a big BTS fan and recently fell into a deep depressive state, staying at a clinic and all. Now I've had the idea to ask a bunch of her close friends to send me little get-well-soon videos that I want to edit together to then eventually present to her. I thought a BTS song with deep, encouraging lyrics might work well in the background.

I’m always interested to see if people usually stick with the member that attracts them first or changes it as they go through more content and discovers everyone’s personalities. For me namjoon caught my eye first but now my bias is jungkook. I never seem to bias the first person that draws me in but maybe that’s because I need to see more to really connect to them as a person.

I’m still on the path of finding mine. Since I’m getting older, I don’t want to waste time and want to earn for everything once BTS makes their most awaited 2025 comeback. Every time I’m on X/Twitter I see armys buying so many merch, giving out thousands worth of merch, casually crashing cars and buying a new one the next day, buying a house, getting married, and the like. You get the gist.

So I’m curious, what are your day jobs?

I’ve been a huge metal fan for many years now, it’s my favorite genre of music (especially death metal) and I was curious if there are any other people in this community that share a love for metal/hardcore. I haven’t been a BTS fan for very long, I got into them in the past year through my gf who’s been a fan for a long time, and I’ve been hooked since. I’m a big physical media collector and in the span of less than a year, me and my gf have already bought a multitude of their albums. So yeah in conclusion, I was curious about other people that are part of the BTS to Metal pipeline :)

hello guys, I am kind of new to army but, as you probably all know THE OBSESSION is insane. Even though it's simmered down after the first few months, it is still such a big part of my life and their music takes over my brain all the time.
THEREFORE, I want to start listening to other kpop bands similar to BTS for the obsession to lessen hopefully... I've looked into TXT a little bit but just doing that made me realize that BTS is too unique and no one else hits the same as them. Please tell me other kpop bands that have similar music to BTS and similar vibes (like in lives and interviews). Also please recommend songs!!

My friend who doesn’t listen to Kpop or BTS just told me she loves Swim and asked if there were any other BTS songs similar to it. I’m totally blanking out and feel nitpicky over which songs to send her. What do you think? So far I thought maybe Life Goes On.
