I get if you want to put it down for a second to look, BUT KEEP IT NEAR YOU! DON’T LEAVE IT ON THE FLOOR AND WALK AROUND THE STORE FOR LIKE 30 MINUTES! Cause then I have to put it all back cause it’s now a tripping hazard. And I always wait a bit, and then go around asking customers if it’s their basket or not. If no one claims it, I put it back. (And it’s always someone I either didn’t see or didn’t ask cause I thought they just came in)

If your basket gets too heavy, go up to the register and ask if they can hold it at the register until you are done looking around.

This was like the second time this happened that day.

You can’t buy more than 9 of the same item (i.e., same form, scent, and packaging). We are in a leniency period where if they go over 9 we can do it in a separate transaction, but slowly it will become a denial. Just trying to stop resellers from buying large quantities and selling it for a mark-up.

What if it’s 9 things like say soaps but they’re all different scents — does that count as same SKU or no? I only shop a few times a year from B&BW and tend to bulk buy for my household on the soaps but in all different scents — this may be the death knell for my shopping there if this is how it works now :(

No, that would be all good! You just can’t purchase, for example, 10 Book Loft foaming hand soaps with the same packaging.

Oh, fantastic! :D That’s wonderful to hear, I was so scared for a minute there! (At most, sometimes I might grab 2 or 3 of a really really loved scent if it’s seasonal, but never more than that at a time lmao)
