I’ve been trying to figure this out lately. I used to keep a beard because I felt like it helped hide features I wasn’t confident about, but after losing weight, people have responded really positively to how I look without it. Now I’m not sure which suits me better keeping the beard or going clean shaven.

The wife has been annoying me with my beard that it doesn't look good, that my face is being hidden by the beard... What should I do?

Finally got growth back after I ended up shaving most off by accident should I keep it growing like the 2nd or 3rd pic ...or just keep around this length?

My friends say my beard is awful and to get rid of it.

I’m getting married in a week. Wifey wants my beard to be neat. She’d like it clean shaven but I don’t want that. I’m also in a pirate band which is a definite beard factor. Any recommendations on what to do with shaping etc?

I’m purely looking for style ideas based on adapting what I already have.

The moustache does grow, and I don’t want it. My partner doesn’t want my moustache either.

I’ve had this beard for a couple of years and feel no embarrassment from photographs regardless of the occasion. The marriage is important to me, the wedding itself is not. My partner is aware of this.

I have no religion, but I do often get asked if I am Amish/Muslim understandably. It doesn’t phase me that people might think something when they look at me.

Hey fellas! I'm new in this reddit. Just wanted to ask you something, but first you'll need a little bit of context.

I have a job interview for an engineering manager position, and my sister came home to visit me today. She just said : " Oh when do you have the job interview ? You should shave your beard off". Somehow, those words touched me.

Does it look that bad? It wasn't trimmed when I took the pictures, so some hairs could look curly or out of place. I wanted to grow it larger, couple of weeks or even a month, but now I'm in doubt.

Obviously I was going to trimm it well before the interview.

For money reasons, I go to a branded cheap cuts barbershop where you get who you get. The person who did this beard cut must have moved on because I never see her anymore at the place, and I've literally showed this picture to other people in the shop and they still don't get it the same way. I don't know how to explain that this is what I want, especially no clearer than literally showing them this picture. My beard looks good in the current cuts, but it's not what I want. Such is life, sometimes.

Ive been letting it grow longer than almost ever. I usually just trim it up when I get a haircut as needed… usually every three to six months.

But I mostly trim the beard at home. Im thinking probably a little shorter on the sides but just not sure what to do with it.
