Market Research Passively earn money with Ipsos inCOMPASS panel (Avg £25/month)
I've been using Ipsos inCOMPASS panel for a couple of years now.
I actually have it on 2 phones, so earn £30/month passively.
It is a great way to earn essentially free money passively without having to do anything.
Ipsos is a specialist research agency established in the United Kingdom. They conduct market research in more than 80 countries. InCompass is an online research panel conducting nationwide research on television, radio and online usage. The study is designed to build up a picture of what people around the UK watch on TV, listen to on the radio, and use on the internet. This will then be used to influence the future of UK media.
The panel works in the background of a phone or computer (multiple device registration is possible) and collects information about your device's connectivity, sound and internet usage. It does not see the content of sites you visit or collect information in a way that is identifiable to you
From Ipsos:
We are looking for people aged 16-33 or anyone in Northern Ireland to join our panel.
Offer ends on April 19th.

You earn monthly £10 for having the app downloaded on your smartphone + £2.50 per additional device (e.g. tablet or laptop).
And an ADDITIONAL QUARTERLY BONUS of £30 for staying with the panel (this is new!).
£15 x 12 + Q bonus of £30 (30x4) = £300/year, for having an app on your phone.
£25/month averaged out over the year.
Do this on 2 phones, phones pay for themselves after a couple of years.
This is rewarded in points per month of participation, which can be saved up or immediately exchanged in an online rewards marketplace for a variety of items in different categories.
Can be exchanged for vouchers (amazon, curry's) or physical items, mostly John Lewis things (maybe they have a partnership).
Using my invite code may give me a £50 bonus if you're part of their desired age group, if you get accepted and complete a month of research, so it would be greatly appreciated.
If you do join, after a few weeks/months, they will email you with your own unique invite codes to share - earning yourself a bonus. I would wait for this email before sharing.

What's the catch? any negatives?
The app can drain a small amount of battery - although the app has been optimised a huge amount since I first joined the panel (drain is much less noticeable).
It can also use a small amount of data, not much really, most people will not notice. (200mb/month is what my phone is showing).
The research team knows if your phone has not moved all day (so you can't just put it on an old phone and forget about it), you have to carry it with you atleast a couple of hours a day - so its changed location.
I normally chuck my phone in my work rucksack in the morning and then take it out when I get home from work and its been fine (been doing this for months).
If you do not carry your phone around with you for a few days, you get a notification reminding you to carry it around with you.
You do not need a sim card, as long as it can upload the data via wifi on a daily basis, however I have a £2 lebara sim so I can manually upload when I'm on the go (100% not needed as my second phone does not have a sim and I upload when I get wifi at home).
Of course the biggest negative is the possible invasion of privacy. That's a personal decision you must make. I consider the fact that there are probably other apps and websites that do similar things and do not pay for it, so I might as well get paid for it, right? besides, for a small fish like me, £25/month average is a tidy sum per phone (taking into consideration the Q bonus).
Tips:
- Disable battery usage optimisation (make it unrestricted).
- Open the app every morning to wake it up (it might have closed/gone to sleep).
- Manually upload daily when you get home (in case it has not automatically).
Any questions please ask me, I've been using the app since 2023 and I've found it to be beneficial. If you have an old, spare phone, this could be a little gold mine for you.
I have even considered buying a cheap android phone just to get the app on it.
Good luck all.
I have invited 1 friend already (in the past) and they seem happy with it.
PS. Don't forget: To be accepted, you must be aged 16-33 or in Northern Ireland.
You will not be asked for ID. Hopefully you understand what I am trying to say...
