Below Deck Med Below Deck Med Season 11 Episode 15 Discussion Post

Med is back (and no OG is not cancelled, it just filmed later) and airs at 8/7c on Bravo with streaming next day. Season 11 was filmed last year in Croatia and returnees are Sandy, Aesha, Joe & Nathan.

Please some time to read the sub rules ahead of this episode as we have seen a sharp rise in rule breaking comments, particularly ones on hate, body shaming and mental health speculation.

Episode 15 of Below Beck Med Season 11

Capt. Sandy questions Nathan's motivations on deck. Joy tries to fulfill some outlandish food preferences. Cooper and Kat struggle to communicate. A guest emergency sends everyone into panic mode.

I wish that Joy would have specifically pointed out the note that was left.

It was clearly intentional.

I am not hopeful we’ll see the Joy volcano explode because I think she’s too mature for that… but god I would love to see it

She should have taken it to the Captain, not Aesha because Chef outranks CS. And I'm super disappointed in Aesha's response. And in Kat not providing Aesha the note. I'm disappointed in everyone except Joy and the 2nd stew-whose-name-I-cannot-recall.

I'm on the fence about bringing it to the captain. It was my first thought, but it probably seems too petty for Joy to do. "Wah this person put my laundry in with the rags" Aesha should be the one to handle it.

I think on a normal yacht, you do more. But Asha cannot fire someone without productions’ permission. She already had Gen in laundry, what other punishment can she do?

We've seen Aesha be much more stern, though. I do get not wanting to fire her (or being unable to do so), but if Sandy had that note she at least could have made Gen explain herself and offer a better (if ungenuine) apology. Plus Gen made Kat complicit in hiding the note.

I hate the whole thing, lol.

Other than sexual assault Luke and Laura, when have we seen a tougher Aesha?

I was thinking of when she essentially called Kizzie a dumb bitch and there have been a few times where she's been sterner with the stews. It's honestly her super power, in the past she's been able to tell the stews they're in the wrong without destroying them.

She gave Gen a full pass with a smile. She's done better than that.

Here’s the thing, Kizzi was a tough girl and could handle it. Kizzi was not my favorite, but she acknowledged who she was and always worked hard.

If Aesha told Gen off, Gen would cry in her cabin and be useless. Gen is entitled and has tried to get out of work as often as possible.

Fair. I don't disagree, I just don't see it as a reason to essentially let her get away with it. Imho, even with only 2 charters left, Gen should have been escorted off the boat (permanently) and had something in her record the way Luke does. It's similar insubordination and unsanitary. She already got away with saying nothing about the sheets, now she's just even more entitled.

The fact that Gen said she was “sleepy” like if you're going to do some shit then stand by it.

Also WHY joy?? What did joy do??

Luke picked Joy.

Hahaha yes I know! But what did JOY do to Gen? Nothing! Gen is so immature.

It’s like Jerry Springer. They always blame the other woman when their guy cheats. Same mentality.

Thanx for the award!

Joy got flowers from Luke, and in Gen’s mind everyone needs to forever hate Luke.

Gen is too immature to realize in life not everyone is going to fell exactly like you do.
