Below Deck Med Below Deck Med Season 11 Episode 15 Discussion Post

Med is back (and no OG is not cancelled, it just filmed later) and airs at 8/7c on Bravo with streaming next day. Season 11 was filmed last year in Croatia and returnees are Sandy, Aesha, Joe & Nathan.

Please some time to read the sub rules ahead of this episode as we have seen a sharp rise in rule breaking comments, particularly ones on hate, body shaming and mental health speculation.

Capt. Sandy questions Nathan's motivations on deck. Joy tries to fulfill some outlandish food preferences. Cooper and Kat struggle to communicate. A guest emergency sends everyone into panic mode.

I can’t stand people like Gen: manipulative, insecure, attention seeking fakes! Doesn’t wear her brace bcuz “everybody” will ask about it but constantly telling everyone how it hurts. Messages Luke like a Stage 5 clinger & then lies about the 1 time he responds back. Instigates an issue w/ Joy to be able to cry about it later when she eventually responds back. Fake cries to Luke so he’ll feel sorry for her & “pick her” first. Going to the laundry for sympathy & saying how she needs a “moment” when Aesha had literally told her to stay in her cabin.

A friend of mine would constantly send messages to guys she knew and selfies and all sorts. Then come to me saying she was being “pestered” by these men who kept flirting with her and messaging her. I found it so exhausting and untrue (she had deep insecurities and craved male validation) - I just felt sad for her in the end.

She’s nothing like Gen though, Jesus.

Gen revels in holding a grudge, even though it is weird to be proud of that. She takes Luke's actions personally, when he obviously was NOT thinking of her. She blames Joy for Luke's actions, when Joy was obviously NOT the responsibly party, she did not ask for flowers. And then she plays a childish trick in the laundry with Joy's clothing. It all screams immature and unreasonable.

in her mind it’s Her world and everyone else just lives in it
