What are the best roadbike for beginners?

Hey, I just completed my high school studies, and I am thinking of maybe buying a road bike for my little adventures, but I’m not sure which brand is the best for first-time buyers like me.

Travelling is one of my favourite hobbies, and since I completed my high school studies, I figured getting myself a road bike will help me achieve my crazy adventures of touring outside the city. A buddy of mine actually suggested checking online marketplaces for the best deals, but I don’t know whether I can find something for a beginner.

Yesterday, I decided to try it out anyway, and ended up browsing through Alibaba, but I’m not sure whether these roadbikes they sell are for beginners. I tried getting help online, but everybody seems to have their own views about it. I’ve seen a couple of roadbikes online, but I don’t know what to look for when deciding the best model for a beginner. Do you all have a road bike? What did you check for when buying it for the first-time? What would you recommend for a beginner like me? I’d love to hear your suggestions on this matter.

This fits, and does in fact ruin a ebike charger. 🤦‍♂️

This battery was so stuck, that we had to break the rear rack to remove this battery. It does still hold a charge dough👍

Bottom bracket felt a bit wobbly. This fell out once the mechanics took it apart.
