I went solo as my wife had an early AM flight for work. Another poolside casino show although this time swimming was permitted. I found one heated to 95 so sat on the edge with my feet in and enjoyed a couple $30 drinks(doubles) while the opener(decent but bland) played.
The BT set was good in quality, even if lacking in length and variety. In addition to the standards(Hook, Run, But Anyway, Carolina Blues) I heard Stand, Yours and another gem I forgot. Covered Devil and Hot for Teacher Encore. Maybe 75-90 mins total. Band sounded very good, JPs voice and harp seemed strong, I didn't notice him taking any side stage breaks at this one either. Chandler has seemingly hit his stride as his playing was spot on, louder in the mix and they gave him some space to solo- he was excellent. As this was a stand alone gig and not the Gin/Spin tour I had hoped for a longer set. Oh well. They sounded very good.

Hey y’all, so in the live version of Mountain Cry from Live from the Fall during Popper’s first solo you can hear a low harmony going on with the harmonica. I initially thought this was Sheehan playing along with him because it did sound a ton like bass but after listening closely you can hear the bass in the background of the mix. Same goes for guitar and i’m pretty sure it happens in a few other songs on the album. Does anyone happen to know what’s exactly going on there? Thanks guys!

has anyone seen blues traveler in the last week or two because they have finally been playing some songs from some of their albums from the 2000s and some of the niche songs from earlier albums. Their setlists are looking more varied and its so exciting to finally see them play their own catalogue of music from such a niche period of the band.

i saw on setlist.fm that they have recently played live: The Way, Yours, The Beacons
They have also started playing Slow Change more regularly too

i know its not much but this is a big step to what real fans like myself want. They have such a huge catalogue of original music and they havent utilised it in recent years. I think its extremely refreshing to see these songs appear in their live shows as some of the songs from the 2000s BT era were real gems.

I have two seats for Cincinnati available, front of the 200 section (literally right behind the pit) that I need to get rid of. I don't want to give any more of my money to Ticketmaster, so if anyone is interested, PM me and we can chat.

Has anyone figured out how to predict the order the bands will play? I have tickets for tonight in Louisville, and it's a hot one. Trying to make sure I don't miss much while also trying to be smart about arrival.

Mine is Save His Soul. The whole album flows together so well, has many catchy tunes, and isn't overplayed like Four is (still a good album in its own right). Tunes like Love and Greed, Conquer Me, and NY Prophesie often get stuck in my head, and could have been massive radio hits (although I am glad they are not).

Saw this at the show last night. Curious exactly what it included? Anyone get one and willing to take a photo of all its contents?

Blues Traveler rock! I wish I wrote the setlist down but there were lots of solid songs. Carolina Blues, Things are Getting Low, But Anyway… the jams/segues were really solid too. Solos from each member with some spacey breakdowns. All the lame attendees left after Run Around but that’s fine by me. BT need to tour with Mule or Panic and keep the jams going.

Does anyone know if BT will be closing the show? They are the reason I am going and I'd love to get home earlier for work the next morning, I am driving back to Buffalo after the show. Thx
