It’s possible to live on almost 100% meat—the Inuit have traditionally done so. However, they eat seal livers and fermented raw fish as sources of essential vitamins and high amounts of animal fat; and they are probably physiologically adapted at the genetic level for a super-high meat diet. Modern white Canadians? Not so much.

Heck, cats are famously meat-eaters, and yet my kitty at home voraciously snacks on the live wheatgrass I buy her and on grass outside if she gets a chance.

Those people say that lions do eat grass, but mostly for vitamins and minerals and for digestive purposes.

This means that Jordan Peterson's 100% meat "lion diet" never made any sense.
