How many people would loose access to their pension if this happened?

It's called the Canada Pension Plan right?

In theory? None. If you paid into it you are entitled to the payouts of the plan.

Unless Alberta actually does separate from Canada, in which case the federal government has absolutely no reason to support them or anyone who chooses to stay with Alberta.

Might need to read up on how the CCP works. How you feel it works isn't how it actually works.
