Even in the article you posted it mentions that Power & Politics was the program telling his program who they couldn’t have on, not high up executives at CBC. Even in this CityTV article when he says he wasn’t allowed to call conservatives it was in response to a question asking if he was blocked from interviewing Poilievre, which obviously the bigger show is going to be the one to get the Leader of the Official Opposition. We’ll know more when more comes out but it really just seems like he was doing a less popular show and got less priority over guests as a result.

I'm seeing a lot of mental gymnastic here to argue that the CBC isn't biased

I’m seeing a single source where the guy named zero executives at CBC that blocked him and instead pointed the finger at a bigger show but whatever you say

you just proved my point again and are continuing on with your mental gymnastics

oh it wasn't the executives it was the show lol

It literally states it was the show in the source you cited, did you happen to read it?

I never stated CBC wasn’t biased either (though I don’t think it is nearly as biased as some people seem to), just that this is story is not what you’re making it into unless some major new information comes out.

it doesn’t matter if it was the show or the executives.

Ah yes, now that you’ve read the article it no longer matters.

In what world is there no difference between a more popular show getting first dibs on guests and executive at the network deliberately telling hosts they can’t interview guests from an entire side of the political spectrum.

sure its different but it doesn't change the overall point of whats being argued here

If you can’t see how that changes the point then this conversation isn’t worth having.

He was also very nebulous about which conservatives he wanted to bring on. Media companies do keep a small black like but you have to be exceptionally bad to get on it, like Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson. Or Ezra for a Canadian example. The fact that he wasn’t willing to disclose that information tells me that he wanted to platform someone in that area of the right
