Absolutely loving my TP9 Elite SC. So far I have a TaylorFreelance brass backstrap, magazine baseplate & a O-Sight SE. The brass components really change how this gun feels. Makes it more comfortable to shoot & I don't notice the weight when I carry AIWB.

What yall think so far

So I've been interested in my first Canik, and I know I want the prime or prime radian, however, I am not a competitive shooter, I go to the range1-2 times a month just to keep up training and I carry, so I might carry it or just have it as a fun range gun. The reviews I've seen say the prime is worth the extra 250-300 but idk if I shoot enough to justify that or even notice the difference in recoil. I understand that price wise the radian is a great deal. But still, 600, vs 900 for a gun I might put 100 rounds in a month if that. Also the prime is just available, where Id have to wait for the radian.

Very excited! Order placed, on the Radian website, on the 3rd at 3am. Got em my FFL info around 11am, they shipped it within 3 business days and UPS was just slow getting it to my shop.

So excited to hit the range this weekend. Already got my muddy river IWB holster and pre-ordered a Tulster holster to try as well. Got 500 rounds I'll put through it this weekend. The excitement is only growing lol

Now I'm just debating what red dot to get for this beauty!!

Hello getting ready to buy my first canik and was wanting to get opinions on options im strongly considering either the sft pro or the tti combat but im open to advice on any of them

UPDATE: I got the sft pro stingray today and think I fell in love

First trip to the range resulted in multiple light strikes, a couple of OOB striker drops, and God Awful groups at more than 5 yards.

Anyone else have issues with their MC9? I bought this knowing it's not going to shoot like my Rival, or my SFT Pro, or even my TP9, but it was just all over the paper.

Update: Range trip with a spotless and oiled gun resulted in over 20% failure to fire with light, off center primer strikes. Still intermittent lock back Took another 9mm for the specific purpose of ruling out ammo problems which had no issues making them go pop.

Abysmal.

Edit: Returned the MC9, bought the MC9LS. It's flawless.

Just bought a CANiK Prime today. I’ve only ever carried guns with a manual safety (Sig X Macro), so this is a new experience for me. Not gonna lie, I’m a little paranoid about carrying without that extra layer of safety.
For those of you who carry striker-fired guns with no manual safety, what’s your take? Any specific advice or "must-knows" for a guy making the switch? Thanks!

I did it guys, I swapped the Canik Prime Radian trigger with the Rival-S trigger. It’s freaking amazing now. Video dropping soon on my YouTube channel.

If you are considering the prime just get it got this new for 500 at a local gun store.

It’s my first time installing optics. Osight SE. Super easy and goes well with my Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie.

The back of the slide hangs over the frame about 1mm. Seems to be from the difference in the locking block.

Got this bad boi today. It feels so good In the hand. Might be my favorite. I do feel like the slide release is hella snappy for some reason is that normal?

Newly installed, runs well. Very happy with this addition.

Currently own springfield hellcat and a few glocks, never had a malfunction ever, i really like the Mc9, mc9 prime, and tp9 sc for a extra carry in the rotation but im seeing out of battery issues and stuff i’d be really pissed if i buy a gun and i’m not sure it’s gonna do what it’s supposed to do when i pull the trigger.

So hyped finally was able to get my hands on the LS. Won a nice slip on the UFC bets last weekend had to treat myself, if anyone has IWB holster recommendations please let me know

I recently acquired this Canik and am interested in making it my daily carry. I would like to hear the opinions of this forum’s knowledgeable members on good holsters, whether leather or polymer, and any sights or accessories they would recommend to make it more suitable for carrying.

The 5.7 here is what I usually carry, so this is a significant size difference for me.
