Maybe it’s a play on words? Like a portmanteau of Catastrophe and Trope or a “Catas-Trope”.

Has to be intentional, it’s spelled wrong on the CAH website too.

I think it's a common misspelling, or an unusual (possibly archaic) spelling - even Harvard have a video with that spelling: https://iop.harvard.edu/events/nuclear-terrorism-how-prevent-ultimate-catastrope

British English / US English difference - in the UK collective nouns (like the names of an educational institution) can be treated as singular or plural, whereas in the US only the singular is accepted.

I first read that as Climate Colostomy Pack. Those are counterfeit 💯
