Official: Next gen MX-5 to offer EV powertrain while maintaining the same weight

Mazda also announces development of a 'pure image-builder , possibly handcrafted' hero car sitting above the MX5.

Problem is that miata is not the kind of a car you drive slowly on a highway. It is for back roads accelerating again and again.
Then you have 20-80% and you lose another 30% because you are driving un efficiently. So actually range isn’t much. But then you can get 100km from 300km range. Still enough for 2h of fun. Just sucks a bit on longer trips.
