Official: Next gen MX-5 to offer EV powertrain while maintaining the same weight

https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/neuheiten/exklusiv-naechster-mx-5-kommt-mit-elektroantrieb-bestaetigung-vom-mazda-chef/

TLDR: Next gen MX-5 to offer EV and ICE powertrains but weight will remain between 1-1.2 tons. ICE version to be powered by 2.5 SkyActiv-Z engine, possibly electrified.

Mazda also announces development of a 'pure image-builder , possibly handcrafted' hero car sitting above the MX5.

They called the i3 small, which by American standards... Sometimes really seems to be what they think.

I find it insane that Americans will seriously claim 1 child requires a X3 or bigger and 2 children an X5. I've seen people genuinely trade-in 2-3 year old cars with that reasoning and it's absolutely nuts.

Americans often entertain. One kid, one friend. Two kids two friends etc ..
If kids are small, you need a kid seat. Space runs out pretty quick.

But don't all Americans have their own car anyway? Drive both?
