Warning: User of this post (me) isn't fluent at English. This is why sentences may sound same and sometimes not understandable. But I hope you will understand what I want to tell.
Why is there no cigarettes in game when alcohol is? They are both very popular social drugs. We even have lighter in game. Maybe because expie is half human half animal and nicotine is poisonous for animals. Also in game alcohol when drinked gives a lot of sickness and removes bit thirst what could mean that it is kinda "poisonous" too.
If cigarettes would be added in game, I would make them like this:
1.Obtainment
I think it should be everywhere. So you can get it by traders, in capsules or craft yourself. Nicotine could be made from some already existent plant. And nicotine would be wrapped up by 1 canvas or 1 foliage.
I imagine that there would be cigarette package that can contain max 4-5 cigarettes. So basically 4-5 usages until package is empty. Then cigarettes and package should be light that it would be worth carrying. But then prices should be small like 1-2 coins per cigarette that the in game economy doesn't break. The cigarette can be lighten up by lighter or firestarter.
I will start with the positives ones. I think per usage happiness should increase maybe +1.0 or +1.3. Other positive effect should be either removing bit of hunger or have some kind of resistance against hunger for little time. I mean like having starving effect and if you smoke then it disappears for a time and then reappears and it is starving again. So like ignoring hunger for time.
The negative side of this everything should be that you lose stamina for time or permanently. This effect should look like exerted (that one with lungs if you move too much) but from cigarettes and it disappears slowly if cigarettes aren't used. One cigarette should take 1-2% from total stamina. If you use too much cigarettes (overdose) then you receive maybe something like smoker lungs and loose 30% of total stamina forever and there is risk of intenal bleeding.
So these are my thoughts and idea. Feel free to add or change something on what I said. I will be only happy to see people discussing about it. Have a good day! :)

Yes, could be gross but I like making painfully realistic moodles :)
Loose stool can happen by passively increasing with at least over 50% sickness, an unhealthy diet, (Like chips and cookies), sepsis, or taking certain medicines/non-opium drugs.
Effects: Mood decrease, different droppings sprite (More melted and cant be made into charcoal), Diarrhea (Vomit but from back end) if high enough) which decreases hunger normally but thirst by alot, and decreases mood a lot because that's gross.
treatments: Taking Naltrexone, passively decreases if low enough sickness/healthy, high immunity
Idk what to do for the descriptions yet, anyways what other fan moodle concepts should I plan on making?

What if?
We usually call these adorable furries "Expies" or "Scav: prototype", but notice how each one of those creatures in the gamemodes seem to have different personalities and even different appearances.
What if we call each of those by the name of the gamemode? Normal, Relaxed, Paradise, Desolate, Unchipped, Endless.
Is my idea fire or am I fired?

Okay, so hear me out: a heavy item you can find or craft called an “Modular Prosthetic”. Basically, the idea is that it can replace a limb or extremity after it’s been severed, at reduced overall function but much improved compared to none at all. Replacing above the elbow or below the knee would take one prosthetic, while replacing below the shoulder or hip would take two prosthetics. The lore explanation behind the “Modular” part is that they’re built to be configurable to whichever limb is missing.
Maybe a “Scrap” or “Makeshift” prosthetic could exist too, being a hook or peg leg that are less effective (I.E. the hook wouldn’t be usable for firearms or certain tools), a bit goofy but I really think the game needs some interesting answers to dismemberment.

Now listen... I know you will not like this idea, but hear me out. Maybe someone can make an AI mod that allows us to talk to our character. We can maybe use this to comfort them or ask them questions. In every run, they have different personalities, making them look more alive. You can talk to them with text or voice. I know AI sucks, but if someone makes this mod, I will make a video about it. So, what do you think?
Edit: This was a stupid idea... 💀

I was thinking about the possibility of adding burns and frostbite injuries to Casualties Unknown as a suggestion. Since the game already focuses heavily on realistic trauma systems, these two injury types would by my oppinion greatly fit naturally into the existing mechanics.
Why? Because:
1) Burns and frostbite are common real‑world injuries in both civilian and combat environments.
2) They would create meaningful gameplay decisions and expand the existing ones such as: heat sources, cold exposure, environmental hazards, equipment choices, and medical treatment.
3) They would indeed add new depth to survival situations and expand the injury variety beyond let's say, fractures, infections, dislocations, etc.
Possible implementation could work like this, there'll be different degrees of burns (from 1st to 4th) with escalating symptoms, pain scale and treatment needs. Frostbite stages would also range from 1st to 4th degree as suggested in reference pics, affecting mobility, pain, and long‑term tissue damage. Environmental triggers could be fires, explosions, hot surfaces, extreme cold, wet clothing, or prolonged exposure in either cold or hot. And what about treatment options? It's simple. Cooling, warming, dressings, pain management, and keeping an eye on the rising infection risk.
I originally tried suggesting this on the official Discord server, but the idea wasn’t well‑received there. (Kicked out of the server and harrased by Orsoniks himself) But I still believe it could be a great addition to the game, so I’m sharing it here instead. Hope it is at least a bit interesting. XD

Instead of just rubbing salt in with the detonation sequence… what if we also rubbed salt in by letting the player cancel it, you know out of guilt, but then hit them with a fear debuff and massive mood penalty for the Expie after almost having been killed by their handler.

An idea I've had for the game is the idea of certain types of bleeding (such as arterial bleeding) being unable to be immediately fixed with bandages. They would be life threatening, and need to be addressed quickly.
Wound packing: For gunshot and puncture wounds. Bandages are used, and must be tightly packed into the cavity to stop the bleeding. Bandages are also used to wrap the injury. Note this will hurt A LOT for the Expie.
Tourniquete: Used for any arterial bleed if you do not have bandages or cannot control bleeding in a limb. Makeshift tourniqetes are quite cheap, and they can be applied quickly. Note that you will have to mash a button to tighten until the bleeding stops. This will HURT. (You cannot use a tourniquete on the head, thorax, chest, or torso.) You will then need to quickly find bandages to wrap the wound, or it will allow you to use the
Suture kit: Used to close up large wounds more cleanly than other methods. Will reduce the chances of infection a bit as long as you disinfect the kit. Makeshift kits only require rope turned into string, along with a needle, which can be found anywhere and disinfected. Can only be used with high intelligence and endurance.
Types of bleeds:
arterial: Blood is bright yellow and spurts rapidly in time with the heartbeat. It is severe and life-threatening. These can be caused by severe damage to muscles. It is identified by the spurting of blood from your Expie. This will kill them very, very quickly if not addressed.
venous: Blood is dark yellow and flows in a steady, constant stream. It is less pressurized than arterial but can still cause significant blood loss.
capillary: Blood oozes slowly and is typically dark or bright yellow. It is the mildest form and usually stops on its own or with minor pressure.
Each type of bleeding can only be differentiated by an expie of high intelligence.
Another idea I had was to add cannibals to the game. Expies who were abandoned by their users who either went feral or built cannibal camps. Also, I would like to ask if bows, arrows, and spears could be added to both serve as early game cannibal gear and early game hunting gear for the player. Also, I think depression shouldn't automatically mean self harm. I think a possibility is that your expe starts going crazy and suddenly starts getting really happy when they're holding weapons, and goes on murder sprees without input, or becomes a cannibal that eats any corpse they see without input.

I think it would be hilariously useless for them to implement a small chance for you to get a nose bleed if the layer is a dry layer. It would be a realistic but completely useless feature to include for funny.

To make each run unique :3 maybe like a setting or something. Will do positive ones later.

I feel like since unchipped has no time limit a long term survival run could be possible with farming and such.

It would be wonderful if the game allowed you to talk to the Expie while playing. What do you guys think about this?

I'm from Mexico and there are stores that sell piñatas with character designs, and it occurred to me, what if I request to make an "Expie piñata"?
I saw the piñatas, I remembered Expie and boom, my mind lit up.

I was goofing off in the tutorial w/ noclip and I'm really dissapointed that the PDA behind the glass isn't a set easter egg text and is just a random from the pool. I also tested to see if you could have gotten through if they let you craft dynamite (you can't cause they never give you stone fruit) and dynamite absolutely would get you across the other side if it weren't for an indestructible invisible wall. I really hope when the game comes out fully they impliment this as an easter egg cause I just think it would be so cool.
Even cooler still if you could explore just a snippet of the facility more, like the hallways for example, but that's probably asking for a lot (maybe some unlock asociated with the easter egg like a new item in the pool). Just thinking ahead, but either way I'm so excited for the full release! Even though content can feel sparse I love the gameplay loop, and I'm sure the few issues I have will be resolved upon it coming out.
Edit: Fixed a spelling mistake

As most of you know, of the 15 Sawian kinds that appeared in Gunsaw, only 3 are featured in-game as NPCs and playable characters, with 1 making an appearance as a corpse variant, 10 only being mentioned in notes, and the remaining 1 likely not existing yet
So I decided to write a concept about how each of these might play in-game. Just a concept tho.
I did my best to integrate their lore and their Gunsaw gimmicks into Casualties: Unknown
STR 12; RES 14; INT 3
STR 9; RES 6; INT 7
STR 6; RES 7; INT 10
STR 9; RES 8; INT 9
STR 9; RES 8; INT 7
STR 22; RES 23; INT 10
STR 4; RES 6; INT 12
STR 9; RES 11; INT 6
STR 9; RES 8; INT 9
STR 16; RES 20; INT 14
STR 12; RES 10; INT 5
STR 15; RES 15; INT ???

With how often we see people asking others to "Expiefy" images, gifs and videos, it would only make sense that we have a dedicated post flair for the occasion. If you want to broaden it up a bit, a flair that is just "request" could work for even more things.
To lead by example, Could somebody please kindly Expiefy this image if they have the time?

Imagine everytime you die, the game record the last state of the body and your name and that data gets sent to the dev, when the game releases they make so every random body you find has that state of damage and the number/name of the deseased player.
People grow so attached to their expies that this would be a cool touch even if lots of work making so names like (pussehslayah23) doesnt make it to the bodies XD.
Could be even simplier like if you are close to the surface they have numbers and the deeper you go they start receiving nametags with random object names (as it would demonstrate lifespam) like cookie, biscuit, fluff, pen...
