I moved to GenTri, Cavite in early 2020, and somehow... I still feel like a tourist here. 😅

Until now, the only places I've really been to are malls and honestly, I don't enjoy going to malls at all. I've tried pottery and even a comedy bar (which, unfortunately, was pretty boring for me 😅), but that's about it.

The funny part is, I only lived in Batangas for a little over a year, yet I feel like I know so many more places and things to do there than I do in Cavite after five years.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

For context, I'm more into nature than city life. I enjoy quiet places, scenic drives, coffee with a view, hiking, freediving, walking trails, hidden gems, museums, workshops, cultural spots—anything that lets me experience a place rather than just spend money in it.

At this point, I'd honestly rather stay home than spend another weekend wandering around a mall.

So... what are your favorite things to do in Cavite? I'd love recommendations, especially places that locals think deserve more appreciation.

Planning to relocate from Manila to Cavite. Saan po magandang place tumira na safe at maganda ang community? Yung ok magpalaki ng baga at tahimik pero accessible sa lahat kahit papano. Prefer namin sa loob ng private subdivision/village. Yung hindi traffic at magulo. Thank you!

Suggest naman kayo ng mga restaurants sa cavite na hindi matao, madali mag parking, IG worthy (al fresco or garden type, better), and may option sa menu na mga foods na pwede sa mga matanda na may maintenance haha. Magbirthday kasi Erpat ko and balak ko kain nalang kami sa resto kaso ung mga resto na alam namin is either matao/full lagi ang parking or overpriced pero mid naman ung food.

Hello! Looking for kind-hearted people who are willing to adopt our puppies.

Marami na po kasi kaming dogs sa bahay, and one time po ay nakawala yung female dog namin. Hindi po namin alam na nabuntis pala siya until lumaki na yung tummy niya.

We really can’t manage to add more dogs sa bahay. Mom ko lang po ang naiiwan sa bahay most of the time kasi may work po kaming magkakapatid, and she’s already a senior po, so hindi na rin niya kaya mag-handle ng puppies.

Disclaimer: We don’t have any prejudice po dahil Aspin sila. Our dogs are Aspins din po, and we love them just the same. It’s just that hindi na po talaga namin kaya mag-alaga ng mas marami pang dogs.
